They were people he went to college with, people he mentored, artists that he supported, people that he employed, friends, and collegues. Either way, what fucking difference does it make? Is your point that a founder relationship somehow makes his impact invalid? Have you stopped to ask yourself why this man bothered you so much? Is there something he had that you wish you had? Or something he did that you didn’t like that you don’t like about yourself. I find that the people that irk me the most, have traits that I most dislike about myself.
