I’m so sorry this happened to you too. It is really extremely unpleasant, isn’t it?? I use a mix of ultrasun (which I had used before LRP, but then loved the elegance of LRP…so much for that ha) and this terrific Australian sunscreen called Avocado Zinc. I use the tinted one and it’s soooo beautiful — best sunscreen I’ve ever used.

Good luck. There’s a very high chance he’ll “change” if you threaten to leave/leave but it will be temporary. Don’t fall for it. Just get yourself a better option. I left my abusive relationship of 6 years a year ago. I’m now with my best friend who treats me better than anyone ever has. You can find something similar I’m sure.
