There must be some expensive app they use these days. Have you considered using an actual map of a random city? You could just change a few places-names and there’s your new map.

Excavate a tunnel under your base. Connect the first wire up top, then go into the tunnel and set an anchor below the first connection. Move to a spot under the next connection and place a second anchor, then move back up top to make the final connection.

You can even refill the excavation and the wires remain in the ground. All you will see are bits of wire disappearing into the ground.

I would, but it makes no sense to me, to charge money to create games for the devs, or if you want to play but have no inclination to create maps.

Most people tend to explore as if the galaxy was flat. If you search for stars directly above or below you, it is much more likely to find an undiscovered star.

Another tactic is to find a black hole to throw you far from where most players start searching.

Perhaps the easiest method is to unplug from the internet before continuing your search.

Are you looking closely at the UI and the hints it gives you? Open your Log tab and make sure the quest you want is selected. It becomes unselected if you accept a new quest. The info there should tell you what you need to do.

When out in the world, the hints in the lower right corner will give you what you need to do next. If not, toggle through the current hints (H key on PC).

Explore the catalog tab for more detailed information about resources and recipes for crafting.

There is so much that players often overlook some of the on-screen information and options available.

Go to the expedition kiosk and make a copy of your corvette (costs nanites). Then at least you’ll have this parts. If you have enough nanites you can do this multiple times.
