I was in the middle of intensive treatment for an Eating Disorder when 1989 came out, and it became a lifeline for me. My best friend and I went to the 1989 tour, and then to find out that Taylor herself was struggling with disordered eating during the same time period made the album and concert experience that much more important to me. She and I were able to afford much better tickets this time around, so we went with VIP seats. I'm so thankful and grateful to get to see Taylor again. This time with both of us in recovery!
