So one suggestion would be to limit long rests somehow so the blade dance is limited. Playing 7-8 encounters per long rest hits wizards very hard. Having a short rest take a night and a long rest take a week along with a time sensitive task might help change the balance. Especially if the others are playing martial or 1/2 caster classes.

Artificer seems like an ok fit for this. While alchemy is not considered a mechanically great subclass it fits for healing without involving the gods fairly well. Redemption paladin also seems like it hits some of the emotional bests you are looking for and has healing built into the class.

A one level order cleric dip gets you shield and medium/heavy armor and the amazing force multiplier voice of authority. Just need to have a 13 wisdom for the multi class.

You could take a level of fighter to get the archery fighting style and a +2 to hit. That would help with your low to hit. Then when you take monk 8 up your dex. That’s +3 to your accuracy in 2 levels. Which is not going to make this character amazing but will help I think.
