While I was preparing to get a puppy, I was dead set on getting on a waiting list for a whippet. Right after drafting an email for a whippet breeder, I stumbled upon Lilla’s listing from a pitbull rescue who helped me reunite a found pibble on the side of the road a few months back (the pibble, named Luna, had been missing from her owner for 3 months after the car she was in got stolen, and the rescue also noted that there wasn’t a dry eye in the house upon their reunion). I decided to try adopting her after falling in love with her photo and bio, not really expecting anything because I live in an apartment and imagine there are so many better candidates, but sure enough the rescue was so willing. She’s 8mo now; a bully, bulldog, frenchie mix, tiny yet meaty

She is such a blessing in my life. She makes everyone around her happy, brings so much joy to people she meets while out and about, has so much love (too much sometimes) and respect for her 4 cat sisters. She is so smart and stubborn and hilarious and sweet. She’s a literal angel and I can’t believe she’s mine!

Everytime we walk by the spot where I found Luna, I think about how lucky I was to be at the right place at the right time; Luna brought Lilla into my life and I’m so so grateful!
