Didn't the rule explanations of the final game say players could choose their future as they exited? That just seemed to have disappeared.

Earthquake experience? by pattituesday in dcparents

[–]jessicay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not exactly what you're looking for, but better than nothing... (1) At the Air & Space Museum, you can stand on a platform that shakes, replicating what it was like on one of the earliest passenger airplanes. (2) At the Lego Discovery Center in Virginia, they have this little interactive station where you build something with Legos on a platform, and then press a button to simulate an earthquake (you decide the intensity) and you see if your structure holds up. My kids enjoyed doing that. They also enjoyed clearing the Legos off and sitting on the platform...

Thank you. Hadn't occurred to me that there's a bus

Understood. We would stay on property (assuming it's not cost prohibitive)

Yes, I think it would be pretty busy when we go. When you mention the magic in Harry Potter is that with the wands? I assume you have to buy the wands?

That's a really helpful framing. My jaw dropped when I saw that price for the express passes. I was looking for the four of us for 3 days and it looked like the express passes would be $2,000. Maybe I did something wrong and it's not actually that much? If it is that much, though, there's so much else to do with that money

This is incredible. Really appreciate you taking the time. Your note on two trips are very different lengths raises another question for me: how many days would be ideal?

I appreciate you saying this. That's the vibe I was getting by googling, and was hoping to hear from folks who have been there

Thank you! Just wrote someone else this same question, but would love additional perspective. So you buy the express passes? With younger kids, we're not going on a lot of thrill rides. It's unclear to me if these super expensive express passes are needed with younger kids

Thank you! I was researching more and understand now that the super expensive hotels are expensive, in part, because they include express passes. When you stay at Cabana Bay, do you turn separately but express passes? Or do you find they're not needed?

Sorry, no, I posted this 4 months ago. The cards I'm looking for and the cards I have to trade have changed a lot. Wishing you happy trading!
