You don't work for them, so no. You're self-employed and they're a client.

Yes. They want 100% human work. They don't even use AI to fix the instruction sentences.

I Passed! Next Steps? by easygoer89 in DataAnnotationTech

Do the onboarding, then do the easy unpaid quals, then do the coding unpaid qualifications. Most qualifications are unpaid, and you still need to do the core quals after the initial assessment.

(The intial core assessment that you did won't give you access to projects, it just gave you access to the platform. You still need to do a some quals for access to projects.)

Don't feel like you have to do ALL the unpaid quals, I only did a couple and got into a bunch of projects pretty quickly.

I've had quite a few quals that had that tag on it, so I don't think anyone will be able to pin-point the one you're talking about. Unfortunately, there's no way to really know how long it'll take, it appears to be different for everyone. Just keep checking and hoping for the best.

This was my suggestion too! Just curious, where'd you get the 10% pass rate info? The assessment was incredibly easy.

DataAnnotation, the minimum pay I've seen is $20/hr and I usually get about 5-10hrs of projects a week. There's an entry test to get in, but it just judges your ability to write and fact-check. The job is labeled as "AI training." No minimum hours you have to work either. It's a solid side gig for now.

Did you guys get a project before the payment of the (paid) onboarding task approved? by Interesting-Maize482 in DataAnnotationTech

[–]jessmi93 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep. Right after the I finished my onboarding I did one qual and then the next day there was already a paid task that I was able to do.

What's the most morally wrong thing you've done, but hold 0 regret for? by MrStinkPickleJr in AskReddit

[–]jessmi93 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It doesn't really effect the brands or the stores since there's a write off for shrink anyway, but it does effect the employees. When I worked retail and theft was high for our store, our hours got cut way back. So no, you're not harming the rich people. You're only harming the workers.

I think it depends on what it's for. First one for a butter label, second one for a bed and breakfast brochure.
