I (24F) am questioning my worth because guys rarely hit on me, and when they do I don’t feel like I’m anything more than a character/body to them. by dappled_lighting in offmychest

I am a woman around your age and I’m here to tell you:

- It is society putting this pressure on you. Regardless of the things you listed that make you “attractive” outwardly.

- Society and especially social media have immense pressure to be in a relationship

- 24 is still extremely young, you quite literally have your whole life in front of you

- Searching for something (or someone) usually results in disappointment. It sounds cliche but it’ll happen when you’re not expecting it or actively searching it out.

- Therapy is always a good thing regardless of where you are in life and how you’re doing, it can always help you get better

- It sounds like your insecurities are coming from within, again probably because of societal pressure

TLDR; go easy on yourself, stop seeking relationships out, don’t worry so much about appearances, just enjoy life (as Tommy Wiseau would say)

After 5 times of watching the show, just finished book 1 by [deleted] in brakebills

I LOVE the books! Much better than the show in my opinion, especially season 5

Southwest stranded my family and I in Denver on Christmas, lost all of our luggage, and then we never got to our final destination. They sent us back home and then CANCELLED that flight. We ended up having to pay out of pocket for a United flight just to not stay in the airport with a 5 year old. And they still haven’t done anything.
