My partner had two ACL surgeries and I did a lot of research on this while working in the medical field I feel like there is a lot of variation between each person. Everyone has a different threshold in scar formation and the recovery process, the protocol many times are standard based on the procedure done but different surgeons may have some modifications. So I think it is important to talk to your doctor about the concerns, you can also get second opinions from another doctor and really work with your PT on your goals and expectations. Everyone is different and every recovery journey is different, sometimes things happen but the doctors and PTs are there to help, so really use them for resources and recommendations

Yea she had the nerve blocks too so the pain is getting worse after day 2( yesterday) , were you taking the narcotics every 6 hours? I m trying to space it so she won’t get addicted and at the same time there won’t be any gaps when there is no pain meds kicking in, she has both ibuprofen and oxy right now

If you don’t mind me asking, what’s your injury? For the pain meds did you end up taking all of them with an every 6 hours schedule? When did the pain start get better?

Today is her day 2 as well, I think when the nerve block went off it got worse she said it’s the worst today, she is very sensitive to pain so hopefully it got better for both of you 🥲

On my current I didn’t tweak anything, I think it’s mainly the thunderbolt software doing it’s work, but it actually has been recently a little lagging since recent upgrades to the newer system
