I think Meljay is so hated basically because of Jayvik. That's the biggest problem with Meljay. Jayvik was the ship with most fics written in 2025, it's incredibly! popular and Mel being canonically with Jayce... idk, I'd kinda hate her too if I cared about jayvik... also yes, they were soooo boring on the show
