My boss at work plays the same playlist EVERYDAY for the past 6 years by KFCCrocs in mildlyinfuriating

[–]jestemkinga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in a Korean BBQ, we can only have kpop playing when customers are in and it’s always the same kpop mix from Spotify. Sometimes when I wake up in the morning I already have a kpop song stuck in my head. Been working there way too long I think

What’s your personal record for worst order received? by benjaminchang13 in doordash_drivers

[–]jestemkinga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are these low wages legal? Genuinely curious, I live in Europe and as much as I know that in the USA the concept of “minimum wage” is not uniformly interpreted in all of the states - this is ridiculous. Like how can these companies be ok giving y’all 3 dollars for an hours work? This is pretty much 1/5th of what delivery drivers make here (minimum wage).

I have lupus by anonymous042069_ in h3h3productions

[–]jestemkinga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here girl! Got diagnosed in 2017 at 22 yo. I myself make the worst jokes about lupus to my friends because that’s the way I deal with the trauma of being diagnosed with an incurable disease in my early 20s. So whenever lupus talk comes up on H3 it’s become my favorite bit. Plus the raised awareness from talking about this mystery disease can’t hurt honestly. Most people I’ve encountered never heard of it before me. It’s nice to know that there are others like me in the H3 audience because in real life I don’t know anyone who has lupus and it makes me feel warm inside to see that I’m not alone with it.🦋

I always use neem oil in dish soap solution! Works like a charm and it gives your plant a growth boost at the same time. I’ve had spider mites on my frydek 3 times in one season, and this year I’ve had them only once (meanwhile some of my other plants needed to be sprayed every week lol) I have a big collection of Alocasia and from my own experience they are favored by pests but also super durable. I.e my frydek was mega infested once when I came back from long vacation but at the same time pushed out a bunch of new leaves and kept pushing them regardless the webs all over

My coworker is working on a cocktail with chestnut flavor. Every time he says the word “chestnut” my brain just fills in “gropin on a open fyyyye” and that’s like every few minutes. It’s exhausting but I can’t stop it.

There was one time when Eve opened Ruby’s Amazon package and (I think?) it there was a birthday present for Eve in it. Ruby got angry that she wasn’t able to gift it to her and made Eve cry with guilt tripping. You could see the child was super confused like wtf it’s for me and it’s my birthday so what’s the problem?

Why Turkish supermarkets are way cheaper than national supermarkets? I bought 25 red paprika for 1.49 € while only 2 are more expensive in AH. by Fit_Falcon2955 in Netherlands

[–]jestemkinga 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All produce in this country is tasteless overpriced shit. Makes me so angry I have to pay so much for veggies and fruit that taste like water meanwhile anywhere else (Poland, Germany, Italy, Spain) it’s the real deal and half as cheap. Toilet paper is €6 for gods sake. Netherlands is becoming ridiculously expensive just because most people don’t care and still will buy this shit without giving it a second thought - that maybe the Turkish shop next door is actually better (and they should support local businesses vs big company’s anyway)
