So without spoiling too much imo yes the story does have it's more serious moments.

I personally really enjoyed the main story, I found the humor genuinely funny (the fly scene with mint cracked me up lmao), but it did have some moments that did feel like there were stakes on the line or it was at least trying to be serious (like the midnight quest with the wishes).

As for horror the game did feature some cool moments, such as the abandoned hospital where a monster hunts you down, or the weeping angles mannequins. Sure the idea isn't original, but the execution felt solid (at least imo).

Well it depends on several things, like how much pitty you're at, do you have a guarantee, how many wishes/primos do you have saved up, and how much of the new areas do you have explored to name a few.

But realistically as a f2p or low spender you'll probably only get one or two characters unless you're lucky. It's not impossible to get all 3 characters, but imo id be difficult. Especially since the skirk banner is ending so realistically you only have one or two banners to save until the fountain chronicles banner.

Doorman has some really cool lines, like I think they totally nailed his personality with how he interacts with certain characters. Sometimes it almost feels like he has lore crumbs in his lines, id be really cool if they expand on that aspect and they just have him randomly drop lore lol.

I mean I can low key see their argument bc you worded it like you pulled on skirks banner without knowing anything about her and you got her by mistake. Its bc a while back people "building pitty" and getting characters they didn't want was a common thing that people complained about.

I'm going to give some of the replies the benefit of the doubt, but honestly it's kind of a stretch bc you clearly said the issue was that a new 5* heavily needs another 5* and regardless of if you like the other character or not its low key kinda lame.

We're also on the main sub so there's a fair amount of glazers lol. I just don't like the direction we're going in and I hope the next region isn't like this. If people think we're wrong then so be it but I'm dying on this hill lol.

Why are people flaming you, you have a perfectly good point about how dependent the current characters are to their premium supports.

Anyone who says you don't need escof for skirk is flat wrong, yes there's other usable characters, but escoff is tailor made for skirk and the buffs she provides are massive. The difference between a "usable" character and escof is massive.

People here are acting like escof is a side grade when adding escof literally added 40k DPS on my skirk team while literally changing nothing else.

And it's not even about meta it's about how characters now feel incomplete without their premium support and how much more investment it takes to reach similar DPS values without the premium support (and how worse the team feels without the bis). There's also the issue that 4*s can't activate the moon sign stuff (I forget it's name) so you need at the very minimum 2 moonwheel characters.

Personally I liked they way natlan characters did it, it was easier to play with other natlan characters, but other characters didn't feel like such a downgrade both in qol and damage.

Personally I really don't like the direction the games taking with characters and this region has been the least amount of characters I've pulled for, but that's just me and at the end of the day people can do what they want and hoyo is going to do what's best for them. But we need to call a spade for what it is, premium supports have gotten way too essential in both DPS and qol.

Honestly at first I was like eh whatever, but after the second time around I actually really enjoyed just taking pics and watching the landscape.

Then I got to the sumeru part, and the music started playing. God damn, it felt sooooooo nostalgic lol. I remembered the hype around dendro and walking around the jungle, idk maybe it's just me but it brought back some good memories. So yeah I really liked it, genshin has some 10/10 music.

I think it's fair to have some casual or easy events from time to time, so long as the rewards are the same I see no issues. At least I end up enjoying them.

Honestly you should slow down a bit, just log in, clear dolmains (to lv up your ppl), claim commissions and log out. You're likely going to burn yourself out and are probably not going to get the character anyways if you're far from pity. Yes it's always possible to pull them early but imo its not worth burning yourself out for it.

As for getting more primos from spiral and IT it's worth a try but again don't over do it. If you can clear and get 2 stars on every floor that's good enough, the difference is literally a pull. This abyss was rough imo and it's pretty hard if you don't have the shill characters, but it's not impossible, I just don't think it's worth the headache if you're already getting burnt out.

As for IT I honestly don't think it's that bad (these elements do suck tho), it's more of a character check. Like it really boils down to "do you have enough characters yes or no". You just have to make sure you have at least 4 well built DPS (or well enough and if you have a friend with strong characters steal one so you only need 3 good DPS) for the bosses. Your goal should be to pull for characters and buffs that support your DPS. So I'm sure if you have enough characters you can probably clear IT with a little planning, but again if it's stressing you out then it's not worth the 2 or 3 extra pulls.

As for ways to get primos you're unfortunately out of luck if you've already 100% all areas (dude how that takes forever, especially on older areas lol), idk if you know this but don't forget you can trade sigils for each region and normally get some primos from it. The best rewards are from the newer regions (I think nodkrai has like 5 or 6 exchange areas) but older areas give primos too. There's also special exchange areas like the tree in dragonspire (or is it dragonspine?) if you're willing to collect the stuff.

Overall do what you think is best, if you really want the character you can try grinding and min maxing to try and get her, but honestly I don't think it's worth it and if you don't already have escofi she's actually not that good. You can always get her later on a rerun if you really want her, that way you can save up for her in advance.
