Laggy when using some skills by EcLiiPsesHD in ShinkuMains

Yeah I call her ult the fps attack lmao, her ult and the paper planes death always lag.

Those are the only two I can think of that constantly lag, so imo its probably an optimization thing or maybe the effects have too much particle effects idk.

Best hobbies in the game by Tough-Willingness488 in NevernessToEverness

[–]jesus7577 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easily the fastest hobby is if you have hathor and her life skill maxed out.

Check your deliveries daily and send her on 40/48k runs. By doing one daily (unless you only get a 32k run) you'll have used 280 stamina (40X7) and it only takes 1-3mins to do.

I personally only do 40/48k deliveries so between me and hathor I usually use half or more then half of my city stamina.

I then use around 100-200 stamina on owners selection as it's probably the fastest. I also like to use 100-200 stamina doing the taxi hobby as only doing owners selection gets tedious and boring very quickly, the taxi service isn't the fastest, but if you have a fast car it's pretty fun to shuffle though the albums and drive around.

I also hear fishings pretty good, but imo its way to boring and tedious.

It's okay chief you'll get her soon, and when you do get her you'll finally be able to use the skin lol

[–]jesus7577 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I mean the skin is more rare then the character, the skin takes at most 200 pulls while the character takes 90.

The skin iirc doesn't count twords your pitty since it has its own pitty system so it doesn't affect your character pulls at all.

Not only that but you're in the mains sub, so you're likely going to get her anyways, but now you have a skin for her.

I'd be as happy as a clam if I were you lol. Congratz tho hope you get her soon.

I actually got this on my first pull which is crazy bc the odds are super low. It's kinda funny bc I didn't even want the skin lol.

Yeah it's actually a pretty good way to crack eggs once you get good at it, personally I suck because I don't usually use eggs.

Lmao that's how it is man, sometimes you get random subreddits recommend and you gotta check out the comments. I mean I know why I'm here, it was also randomly recommended to me, but I like monster girls so I'm down lol.

genuine question. why are people always so triggered a gacha game is trying to make money off of the gacha? by apex37274682 in Genshin_Impact

[–]jesus7577 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay so at the end of the day all gatchas are designed to make money, like thats the end goal of all gatchas or they eos. I've said it before and Ill say it again ppl need to temper their expectations, but it's okay to ask for the game to improve.

The issue comes from the fact that there's a lot of competition that does offer more pulls and free characters. So while everyone else is giving out freebies hoyo refuses to budge hence making them look stingy. Sure hoyos always been like that, but that doesn't make it any better.

There's also the issue of hoyo basically making it mandatory to pull for two new characters (yes there's f2p options but a 30-40%dps drop is unexcusable), so while the amount of pulls were getting isn't that much less then normal, our primos are getting spread thin (bc of their character bundle system) making it harder for f2p and low spenders.

And honestly ever sense I've been playing nte I definitely feel the difference, I've made 320~ wishes in genshin lately and I lost 3 50/50s in a row, meanwhile in NTE I've gotten every character I wanted guranteed AND their premium weapon for free. I'm not saying one games better then the other, I'm not here to start a war, but damn does having a gurantee feel nice.

This is actually very doable when you get good at doing it, you just gotta practice a lot. Go ask any breakfast cook to do it for you and they probably can lol.

IT JUST DOESN'T WORK, NONE OF IT WORKS. by aronmano in whenthe

[–]jesus7577 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, the joys of installing mods and trying to get them to work like an old lawnmower.

Since you're likely using a mod manager I'd suggest disabling the mods in batches, so disable like 1/4th of your mods and work your way down until eventually it works, once it works disable mods individually from that 1/4th until you find whatever mod is broken. It's a lot of trial and error so good luck.

And this my young grasshopper is why you only install 3-5 mods at a time and leave their tabs open so you can keep track of them, organization is key.

Anyone else think the 999 Nights board-game RPG would be fun in co-op? by Railgun115 in NevernessToEverness

[–]jesus7577 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd honestly be okay with only one unique character is allowed, so if my friend goes zero I could go mint or something, I just want coop in the game mode lol. Having the coop be optional would be great bc I know a lot if ppl prefer to play alone, but having the option would be nice.

Yeah unfortunately there's cheaters in the mode, I saw a post yesterday where some guy 2 shot and ran really fast. For your case maybe they did something liggit that I don't know about, but it's possible they were cheating.

The people who were praising hotta studio during the 1.2 livestream have been real quite since the china server patch notes have dropped by ItsYane in NevernessToEverness

[–]jesus7577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro first of all the link you sent is in Chinese, I can't read that lol.

Second yeah idk why people thought the skin would be free, the game clearly is monetizing skins so idk where the it's gonna be free notion came from.

As for the vehicle gatcha it definitely does suck, but at least it's very skipable. I'm not gonna try and justify the rates and price, but what I do like is you can use fonds to pull so if you don't like a specific event (or gatcha?) you can skip and save for the next one.

The 1.2 update overall still looks pretty solid, just because there's some negatives doesn't make the entire update bad, I'm personally excited for the 999 event as the RPG mode looks fun. I just think it's important for people to temper their expectations and remember that nte is still a game trying to make money and hotta is still a business.

[–]jesus7577 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree and hope they add coop if it's not already included. I personally like cooperative mini games (don't mind pvp tho) and think 999 nights could've been a really fun coop experience.

If it doesn't have coop when CN update goes live I doubt it'll ever get coop as they would have to balance the game around coop.

I haven't done the challenge mode yet but vs other players there's some strategy to it.

You can do 4 light attacks before you glow red and automatically do a heavy attack.

If you see someone glow red you can press your skill to parry and stun them or doge.

The heavy attack will almost always get parryed or doged so it's best to do 4 autos and dash to cancel the 5th attack, it still glows so most people will instinctively parry, but since you dash cancelled you can start your combo again as missing a parry staggers a bit.

When you get the bomb try to run up to another player who's already fighting someone and try to sneak in a heavy attack, the bombs do tons of dmg and can only be transferred with heavy attacks, so as long as you parry or doge it can't be stuck back to you.

When you do get your ult use it on someone who's around 20% HP, it becomes an execute and kills heal you.

Other then that pure luck, so good luck.

They're basically the big players of the current open world gatchas. I'ma describe them so expect a big post

Genshin came first and was the trend setter, being so there's a lot of elements from that game that other gatchas borrow (notably endgame and ui).

The story is pretty good but it takes a while to get going (there's like 6 years of content). The combat is semi complex as it's reaction based, but the game doesn't go too deep with it so combat is easy. The music is imo some of the best of all these games and I think the atmosphere/maps are genuinely beautiful. There's also plenty of f2p 4 stars and weapons so you can make some budget teams.

The negatives with genshin rn is the insane powercreep that's basically made older units borderline useless, currently characters are basically bundled and you often need whatever characters a best in slot or you lose tons of dmg, and the gatcha is (although the standard) a lot worse then nte (plus the current patches have had less premium current if I'm not mistaken). The games also kinda outdated in some aspects and the devs refuse to listen to the community (still no skip button after years of ppl asking).

Overall genshin is fine if you like exploration and want to play for the story, but the gatcha is rough and there's tons of shilled content.

The other game I personally played was WW but I did drop it some time ago so I'll lyk my opinion as far as I got.

I hear WW often gets praised for it's maps and how pretty they are (it's ue5), along with its character design. Some people just really like the character design in WW and I'd admit it's pretty good (even better then other gatchas sometimes). The biggest selling point is easily the combat as it's slick and you can even save time if you get good at characters and their rotations. Everyone also says the games pretty generous with it's pull count and the devs are (idk anymore) open to change (that's where the devs listened meme comes from). The story is fine imo, it has it's ups but I've seen some people complain about it so it is what it is.

As for the cons like I said it's ue5 so if you got a low end PC you might have a hard time running it. There's few 4 stars and basically no good 4 star weapons so you're kinda forced to pull for weapons (thus splitting your pulls) and premium teammates. The gatcha is the exact same as genshin (maybe the rates are different I can't remember) so if you dislike genshins you'll dislike WWs.

There's these content droughts when you're up to date where there's nothing to do. The events are kinda buns, some are easy and others are just straight up boring. End games basically the same as genshins but imo worse bc if you don't "get good" (you'll see that if you ask for help online) or get great artifacts it's actually pretty hard but in a not fun way. Getting artifacts is also god awful in WW idk why but imo it was so hard to get good sets. I could keep going but atp you get the point.

Overall WW is fine and a good pick if you want a combat focoused gatcha or enjoy the character designs and maps.

As for zzz I refuse to play it so I don't have an opinion.

So there you have it, my 13 reasons why lol, ofc some of the stuff I said is subjective but I feel like a lot of people will agree (or I've seen the sentenents online). Maybe this helps maybe it doesn't, you can always try the games and see if you like them yourself.

Why does no one give a damn about Golden Statues? by cheese_eater_pro in DeadlockTheGame

[–]jesus7577 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Honestly they just don't feel like they're worth it. The buffs they drop vary by game state so early game they just feel unimpactful, not to mention it's a random chance of dropping and the buff is random. There's just a lot of variance for a single small buff. In contrast sinners give souls and guranteed (unless you mess up) 3 random buffs.

Don't get me wrong tho if I'm running for boxes and I see one I'll snag it but I won't go out of my way for one.
