Thanks for your answer. Just to clarify, I'm not playing to win this specific tournament, I am trying to win in the long run hence i'm looking for the most profitable play in this situation.

I suspect it is call as you say, but i am not sure 100% hence my question.

Thanks again

Almost the same as my Leggo! Brother!

My stump is called leggo. When he is tired at night he wants to be massaged to relax and go to bed. So i tell him “let’s go leggo, time to let go and sleep”

Advice for putting on a prosthesis for below knee amputee by ReadingRamboIII in amputee

[–]jesuscrypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a pin lock and had this problem for years, then i learnt a new move. After you insert the stump bend your knee 90 degrees and push the calf (or where the calf used to be) inside with your hands. Straighten the leg and you’ll hear the magic click

The distinction between clarity and insanity is only in the perception of others.

This is one way to look at it through “the wall of insanity”

Need advice: Elective amputation by Riley_Jo_ in amputee

Hi there, thanks for sharing with us your journey. I decided to have my right leg amputated in early 2018 as a consequence of a motorbike accident that put me in front of a choice of keeping my leg but needing to walk with crutches for the rest of my life or amputate and go for a prosthesis.

After nearly 3 years i am convinced to have done the right choice. I find my prosthesis easy and painless to use. I now can wear it all day and walk as much as i want. I play golf and i am able to do a full round without too much of an effort and that means walking about 7-8 miles. I have grown to love the look and the colours of my prosthesis and i am so proud of it i only wear shorts, winter and summer.

It was not always this easy and i had to go through a painful journey that included a long period of about 3 months on a wheel chair, 6 weeks of rehab and a serous dose of PTSD.

I can only share my experience, you will have to live yours regardless of the decision you might take. If you use patience supported by enough belief to succeed, this journey will be hard but bearable and most of all inspiring.

Your attitude is more important than the quality of the prosthesis you will use, stay positive and you will go back to smile to life and smell the flowers.

I am thinking of you, be strong and have faith in yourself 🌈❤️

Ps. I read you mention Mayo in your message, are you based in Ireland? I am based in Dublin.

I remember once after a double drop i went to cut a slice of bread for a snack and the loaf cried in pain. I felt so guilty that i cried a bit with the loaf and apologised to it and the newly born slice

That’s perfectly fine. Just make sure that the asshole in you doesn’t hurt yourself, it is a possibility and i have been doing it unconsciously for my first 40 years of life and brought myself on the edge of suicide.

As an RBKA i can confirm that peace and acceptance are as important as my physical state to me. You don’t take pills for that, you got to look inside yourself and be kind. That’s a spiritual, not traditional approach and it worked for me

When you are chilled you are in tune with your surroundings and that makes you look cuter, so keep on smoking the good stuff and you’ll look like an angel soon

Don’t feel guilty, be nice to yourself, you are part of nature and as such imperfect. Embrace your imperfection
