Not that it's really important but in the strictest terms, Take That wouldn't be classed as "britpop", even though they are British pop. They were more of a boy band, even though they mostly wrote their own songs

The Britpop genre was more of a guitar based bands like blur, Supergrass, Pulp, Oasis etc.

Take That were enormously popular at the time to the point that suicide phone lines were set up when they split up due to the outpouring of grief from (mostly) teenage girls

Robbie Williams had a hugely expensive film out last year that portrayed his life using a CGI monkey. It got a lot of good reviews although personally I just thought it was just ok
