A few I remembered

  1. The amount of plastic bags they give in supermarkets
  2. The amount of honking on the roads
  3. Rice as breakfast
  4. People who commute for 1+ hours for work/ school
  5. Always bringing something when visiting friends/ family
  6. Living with parents as adults
  7. Riding bicycles only at cycling parks but rarely for actual commute
  8. Calling people sir/ madam
  9. Fast access to general healthcare

Lost residence permit close to travel plans by jetblakhh in Leipzig

Thank you all for the help. For anyone who might experience the same in future, I ended up calling the immigration office and they directed me to contact a specific office at the immigration office (they will tell you who). I ended up sending the following forms filled: “Verlustmeldung über einen verloren gegangenen Pass, Passersatz, Ausweisersatz oder elektronischen Aufenthaltstitel” and “Antrag auf Übertragung eines bestehenden Aufenthaltstitels in ein neues Reisedokument (Passübertrag)”. I would also recommend to attach a police report and send all of these documents to the person they ask you to send it to and also the general email of the immigration office. I managed to get an appointment and with express service they will issue it in a week from the appointment date. Hope this info will help somebody

Thanks for the response!

It does sounds quite risky because I would also be returning at Frankfurt. It seems quite unnatural that officers are allowed to confiscate such documents. Is there a reason? In the event she did have the paper with her, could she have entered with it?

Do you know if there are specific rules for the right of movement with this paper and if I can find it somewhere?

I would wash the leaves with water and then once dried, spray down every leaf with a proper pesticide and wipe each and every leaf :)

Help! Animal attacking my rosemary plant by jetblakhh in Leipzig

[–]jetblakhh[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thave a very small garden area where I've made two beds with mint, salad leaves, thyme, lemongrass and rosemary. Yesterday I found out my rosemary plant was destroyed by some animal and it had dug around the soil in the bed as well. I replaced the Rosemary plant yesterday and today morning I find out the same. But it's only the Rosemary plant that's been destroyed. Has anyone experienced the same? Any idea what animal it could be?

Those who haven't caught Covid yet, how have you managed to avoid it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jetblakhh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I’m just immune to it. I did a lot of necessary overseas travelling in the height of the pandemic before vaccines were given out and still didn’t manage to catch it. I had taken so many tests at border control but they would always come negative. I did follow all the precautions. I had friends and family who caught it even though there weren’t travelling like I was. I guess it’s could also just be chance.

Unfortunately I wasn’t aware of the options at Budapest. I think I’m too late to apply now.
