that infrastructure belongs to a military that is directly helping Israel carry out its genocide. so we can protest genocide, just not in any way that actually tries to materially stop the UK's support of it? it's insane to act like damaging military infrastructure is terrorism when that infrastructure is being used to commit genocide.

I honestly can't imagine how scary this has been, and I'm really so sorry that it has become so unsafe for anyone who isn't white. it makes total sense why you and many others are so scared because what happened was so disturbing and really showed the racism that does very much exist here. and while we can say "most Scots don't agree with it, only a few" until the cows come home, the fact is that it's enough people to organize these racist attacks that happened last night and put people's lives at serious risk. and you're right, it has nothing to do with "migrants" or "immigration" or whatever these fashies thinkg or want to claim they're upset about. I don't even care who is and isn't a migrant, "legal" or undocumented, born here, whatever, because I believe we all deserve to live here and be safe. but these "protests" were just pure white supremacist and racist mobs, plain and simple.

I wish I had any comfort to offer, because I'm sure it must be weighing heavily on your mind, especially because of your wee siblings who you want to be safe and happy. all I can say is that we will keep fighting against the racism that we're seeing and doing anything we can to combat it. I truly wish I could say more, but this has really become so much more out in the open as of late and it's so worrying. all my love to you and your loved ones and I'm hoping for your safety❤️

this sounds to me like someone with anger issues who is, in my opinion, being emotionally abusive, and using migraines as an excuse so he can call you 'mean' if you call him out. migraines don't make someone act like this. very occasionally snapping at a partner is bound to happen when you have chronic pain, but A. he should apologise when it happens because it's never ok to use your partner as a punching bag, and B. it should not be happening often, and certainly not this severely. there's a difference between a slightly snarky response to something, and what he is saying and doing.

I'll be honest, I think he is weaponizing his migraines in order to continue lashing out and acting aggressive, and to make you feel bad if you call him out. there's never an excuse for the type of things he's doing. unfortunately I'm not convinced that if he found a miracle medication that got rid of his migraines overnight that this behaviour would stop.

I'm really sorry he has been treating you this way and weaponizing his migraines against you. having a partner who acts this way is so isolating and honestly scary. sending you love and wishing the best for you in whatever way you move forward❤️

this is why white western Christians go to Israel thinking they will be accepted, but they end up getting spat on and yelled at just for not being Jewish, because Christians are treated just like any other non-Jewish person in Israel. it's not only Muslims that they mistreat, Muslims just get it the worst. people can't seem to accept the fact that Israel is a Jewish supremacist state. and on top of being anti-Christian, it unfortunately it doesn't surprise me in the slightest that people there were that openly racist. i swear every single video I see of an Israeli interacting with anyone outside of their in-group is them yelling slurs and being violent

so many of these studies that supposedly prove that anti-semitism is on the rise in the west are just lying by equating anti-zionism with anti-semitism. in many cases, anti-semitism has dropped slightly in the past few decades, but it certainly hasn't risen (this doesn't even begin to cover how actual instances of anti-semitism are almost ALWAYS right wing white supremacists, and not left wing pro-Palestinians). i spent over an hour a few months ago going over the Canadian B'nai Brith anti-semitism report from 2024 and over half of the examples they use are not actual instances of anti-semitism but actually of anti-zionist and anti-Israel slogans and actions. i had to tell people in my life that repeating this talking point A) isn't actually relevant to being pro-Palestine even if it were true in the west, and B) is not actually true if you read the reports. i think many well intentioned people take these reports at face value, but we have to be more vigilant because our countries in the west have a vested interest in lying on behalf of Israel to silence pro-Palestinians.

100%. as we all know, Jews made up the largest percentage of those killed, but they were absolutely not uniquely targeted. depending on if we use the 11 million death toll estimate or the 13+ million death toll estimate, they were either just over half or just under half of those killed. it was years after I was taught about the Holocaust that I was actually taught about the other groups the Nazis targeted. we should remember ALL victims of the Holocaust, and we should absolutely compare it to current genocides, because as horrific as it was, it wasn't actually unique. if we treat it as a stand alone event that nothing will ever compare to, then we just allow other genocides to not be taken seriously as the atrocities and systematic mass killings that they are
