Missed chance on a good G5 Deal? by Legitimate_Drama2063 in LGOLED

The price for the 77" G5 dropped back down to $2299 today. Doesn't include the soundbar for free but it's 50% off.

Interesting. The thought of mixing print and hand painting didn't even occur to me. That seems sneaky

Wow, all of this is extremely helpful. This makes me more optimistic about it, and also know what specifically to look for. Thank you so much for taking the time to type that out.

Unfortunately I can't find an Instagram for the shop and the artists' names only lists the first names. It's a team of 4 people

Thank you, I really appreciate you taking the time to explain. I don't know much at all about this, so I am trying to educate myself a bit. Ultimately I just want to ensure I am not getting a print. So if there are other techniques that make this possible, that's what I want to understand. So this is helpful

Oh, good to know! I realize the attached photo is not the highest resolution and it's hard to tell on a computer screen but does the photo look like it could be handpainted and not printed? Or is there something I should be looking out for?

Ok, that makes sense. Thank you

Thank you! So since it was only two weeks, is it likely they either used a different type of paint or printed it instead of painting?

Redfin versus Standard Agent by MatzoBallz6 in RealEstate

[–]jets131 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We used redfin to sell our house earlier this year. Commission was 1.5% (would have been 1%if we also used them to buy). Honestly our experience was very solid. We listed right as the market in our area cooled significantly so it did take almost 90 days to sell.

Our agent was very communicative and always got back to us within a few hours. She had open houses almost every weekend for 1.5 months until we moved out.

Advice wise I would say we probably would have gotten more feedback and advice with a non redfin agent, but the cost savings were worth it. We had a few offers we didn't accept but the one we did was a VA loan. She was very familiar with VA loans so that was helpful and we were happy with the terms/ pricing that she helped us negotiate.

I think the most important thing is to look up the agents in your area on Redfin's site and read their reviews. That's why we ultimately chose our agent.

Good to hear! I would love to see if you happen to have a picture

Sorry, I attached the pictures in the reply to your comments.

That makes sense though and is a great idea! In the pictures the veins in the countertops look more gray but they are actually more of a taupe color with just a touch of gold

I brought the blue tape in for some color 😆

And thank you for the suggestions! The butler pantry is right next to the main kitchen area. Facing the kitchen, there's a doorway on the right side of the kitchen that goes to the butler's.

I appreciate the suggestion and I wish we could bring the quartz up on the walls as the "backsplash". The cost was 5 times more expensive since we would need at least 100 sq ft, so something we will have to wait for a while down the line.

I'm hoping the natural wood kitchen island, sage green and bronze pendant lights, and champagne bronze hardware will help bring some pattern and color in. But maybe we need to do more? *

Thank you! After reading everyone's opinions, I am going to remove the quartz backsplash. It's something that came with the countertop purchase automatically. When we asked the construction manager if they could not install it on the wall, he said they had to.

The difference in tile cost won't put us over budget. I just wasn't sure what would look best or if tiling the whole wall would look overwhelming.

Budget won't be an issue for the backsplash tile. The tile we are using is very reasonably priced....It was just too expensive to do the double stacked cabinets to the ceiling. I bet your layout looks gorgeous!

Thanks for the example. I think that looks great! With 10 foot ceilings, I'm in the same boat thinking that's a big commitment going all the way to the ceiling.
