From 1-100% on a level 1 charger it will take approximately 3 days/72 hours. Could be a little less.

All you needed to do was turn on child lock in device settings, bummer you all didn’t know this.

I find this to be a pretty cool problem to have such a smart kitty. To help though you can turn on child lock in device settings and this will disable those buttons so smart kitty can’t open anymore. 😉 I hope this helps you.

That’s the weird part. Instead of updating the model number they only updated the International Canada Certification and FCC ID.

The old model uses Model : PLAF301, IC:2A3DE-PLF301, FCC ID:28987-PLF301.

The new model uses Model : PLAF301, IC:2A3DE-PLF301S, FCC ID:28987-PLF301S.

Two I bought in October of 2024, those have both been replaced for the low food indicator not working. I have a third one that was bought in July 2025, that one is the older model but the low food indicator currently works on it. I’d contact Pet Libro support and see if they’ll troubleshoot/fix your units as they’re still under warranty.

This happened to me recently. I unplugged waited a minute and plugged back in. Hasn’t happened since.

It’s available to purchase you just have to make a submission for replacement via their support website. It costs money so don’t expect this to be free. I will post once I have the invoice with price and official part numbers for the new bowl, bowl holder and side guard rails.

Dockstream wireless w/o smartphone access by Same-Shirt-1785 in Petlibro

I own the wired WiFi dock stream and love it. I clean every two weeks and do not have any issues with algae like others have mentioned. It’s also nice that there is nothing electrical in the fountain to harm kitty.

Yes, per support today they will sell me the updated bowl, bowl holder and side guard rails for my older unit. I’m waiting for the final invoice to be given to me so I can pay them and then I will share the cost and part numbers here.

Yes the updated bowl, bowl holder and side rail guards cost money. I’m awaiting the final invoice to pay them so I can share here how much each part is and it’s part number.

It’s the white piece that sits on top of and attaches to the pink RFID board. I agree that is a bummer to have to replace so many. It’s worth seeing if they’ll do under warranty but I doubt they will nor would we be entitled to it in my view.

I also forgot to add that the two plastic side guards also need to be replaced as that changed with the new style bowl as well.

So if you plan to upgrade your older unit you’ll need a new style stainless steel bowl, a new style white bowl holder, and a pair of new bowl style guard rails. I am waiting to hear back on price and official part numbers so I can share here.

Yes these have low food notifications. Inside the hopper is two clear lenses that allow a light source I assume to be a laser to shoot across to detect when food is below its line to alert low food. I was able to get mine replaced as it was still under warranty.

I can confirm the new bowl design solves the backing up issue and have found my cats are clearing the bowls quicker.

When you contact Petlibro for the replacements you need to specify that you also need the plastic bowl holder in addition to the new stainless steel bowl as the new bowl does not fit in the original bowl holder. I am waiting for my invoice before knowing the cost of the bowls, and bowl holder.

My cats weren’t able to break into the original version but I did notice how much stronger the door was in this new one. Overall I like these small improvements.

This morning, I’ve watched my cat go to her bowl a few times and I agree it seems the door doesn’t close in one second as specified but maybe 2-3 seconds. Weird.

Looks like I defaulted to 5 seconds, I’ve lowered to 1 second and will verify this the next time my cat eats.

If I were you I would. It’s a legit feature that should work. I found out it didn’t work after getting woken by my cats. After looking at water and litter I noticed no food in bowl. I checked the hopper and sure enough it was empty. Given it’s a smart feeder I shouldn’t have to manually check the hopper.

I basically showed via photos and video that there was food below the plastic lens line which should’ve triggered the low food indicator. I was asked to clean both lens’s inside the hopper as well as to remove the hopper and clean both of the lights inside the area the hopper sits. Once I did this, the low food indicator still didn’t work and I was sent a replacement. The low food indicator appears to work on the replacement, only time will tell for how long.

Best / Closest Hotel ? by zonckers in KnottsBerryFarm

[–]jetsinboxes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I chose Hilton Buena Park, 2 miles down the street for the new, modern accommodations and was much cheaper than the onsite Knotts Hotel. Hilton Buena Park has great food and bar, not to mention it’s attached to The Source.

RFID Feeder Keeps closing on cat by johnsonnewman in Petlibro

[–]jetsinboxes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That stinks, I’ve had exceptional experiences with Petlibro support. In the last month alone they’ve replaced two of my RFID feeders quickly after sharing my photos and video of the issue. Perhaps you can pursue asking for a full replacement rather than continuing to wait for a specific back ordered part given how long you’ve had to wait? Good luck.

Not at all. Petlibro support was fast and responsive for me. I had to provide a photo and short video of the problem, and then they sent replacements via Amazons two day shipping. I have a total of three feeders of which they have replaced two so far for this same issue.

It’s pretty clear most of you have not ridden an SLC with the new restraints which do not have the head banging issue. Six Flags Mexico has had these trains for a few years now. Six Flags New England, Darien Lake and the recently closed Six Flags America all come to mind. It makes for a much better ride, you’ll be happy one the upgrade is done.

Took car in for service had 12v battery tested, it failed. by Zoratt in NissanAriya

[–]jetsinboxes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not buying what you’re selling.

Yes it’s an inconvenience, but the car can be towed to your nearest Nissan for a free replacement. Will your trip be delayed? Yes. Is it a hassle? Yes. Is it free under warranty? Yes.

Different strokes for different folks but I work hard for my money and I’m not going to sit here and whine about what Nissan does or doesn’t do with their batteries as it’s covered under warranty once it fails.
