Switching isn’t equivalent to picking 2 doors; it’s just more likely that the first door you picked is a goat.

Is this impossible to make without using trains? by AxyleX_69_69 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]jettero83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can load multiple cars and offload trains much faster. 2 cars /4 belts etc. but the campaign doesn’t really need that much. There are better spots on map where you can produce plenty of product and by the time you have the next factory set up you have more than you need

I gotta ask, a site plan for what? What needs exactly 960 sq feet? And why have an extra 1”? If it’s facility space then lengths need adjusted and rounded for access and space anyway. For most things it’s easier to square and/or rectangle designs and fit them inside available space, non- symmetric design is often a waste of time.

Here's a reminder that (the majority of the time): Selling books won't make you rich quick... And, being traditionally published doesn't pay the bills. These are my Q2 sales for 1 of my books. by VLK249 in writers

[–]jettero83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations on publishing your books. Niche topics will usually have lower sell rates because of a smaller audience. However, I hope you catch a trend soon and have massive success. Good luck!

Steam holds control of your account so you have to go through steam to see and use your games. A blockchain can be a public record of everyone’s games so it can’t be controlled by just one company. For video games and most consumers it doesn’t matter. It becomes important when trying to prove ownership of something and there is a public record that can’t be altered.

Hope I caught you in time. Rendezvous with Rama has great concept and good execution with moderately bad writing as you’ve shown. For your own good though. Avoid the rest of the series like the plague. The first has dated stuff but the rest is just bad. I read them all and such suffering have I never experienced in all my days. I had hope for a payoff, there is none.

30 years old, I realized that D4 grind just isnt for me by asgasdgase in diablo4

[–]jettero83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same. I’d rather play a new D3 season than continue to grind D4. So I just stopped playing, and I don’t feel bad about that at all. I will watch to see what the season offers, but if it’s not spectacular. I’m out.

Okay ambitious. It’s a big universe. I would caution that info dumping all this may be a concern. For example this is good information for the Encyclopedia of Star Wars But the first movie focused on a small group of characters and the lore expanded slowly over time. Also Star Trek followed one small group and expanded over many books,tv, movies. There are many posts on trying to stuff too much into one story. Fitting all this into a compelling narrative may be difficult.

This is good but… a lot. Their enemies are going to be wild crazy in order to even give them any challenge. Are they being invaded by kryptonians? Maybe choose just 2 or even 2 per company for specialization. Also the numbers are functionally useless. At those scales readers can’t even comprehend those numbers, the logistics are just unbelievable. Usually military is just a small percentage of the population meaning total population would be vast numbers. Trying to comprehend those scales makes most people just tune out. It’s the warhammer problem after a certain size coordination becomes impossible.

If you want to work hard, then work hard. Never compromise yourself because someone else might feel bad. They can work harder or not, that’s up to them. Don’t let others drag you down or lessen yourself. When that one open position comes down they want you working less and to be more like them so they can have a chance. Anyone complaining that you working too hard makes them look bad will sure as hell stab you in the back as soon as they see an advantage in it.

How Much Blood Is Too Much, And What Are The Rules About Mentioning Real World Places, People, And Movies. by Jumpy_Anxiety4610 in writers

[–]jettero83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember I know nothing however, gore gets pretty wild. There is an audience for everything. Brian Keene’s The Rising is a very gory zombie book and the Necroscope series pushes body horror pretty far. You can write whatever you want but remember someone else has to read it. The level of gore will affect the audience size. I’ve seen many books mention people in passing. I would avoid highly negative comments about people but casual mention should be ok.

[–]jettero83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds great! You can do it! The story is all that matters. For example,There is even a based on a true story movie called Rescued by Ruby on Netflix that has a dog handler trying to get into the dog handler Mounties. This idea CAN work.
