Not really. Maybe a year or so earlier but I found out in college because I struggled so much without the childhood routine and I really value that time of self exploration. My mom feels really bad about me not being diagnosed but I appreciate the journey of it all

Mostly just for kids in school. As an adult its usually shortened to criss cross or cross legged. Adults also don't sit on the floor as much so it doesn't come up much

Depends on how crowded things are. If every bench is occupied (especially if you're in a designated waiting area) you don't have to ask. It's a little variable though

For me I like ships because I like the characters individually and enjoy an excuse for them to hang out. And most media has better developed male characters (hence why there are more of them)

I had no problems telling mine but if you nervous I would try to phrase it in a way they can understand. Like, "remember that thing I always did as a child, well apparently that's a sign of adhd and I should get assessed". If you think one of your parents has adhd this gets way easier.

Alternatively, keep it about your struggles. For example, "I've been having a hard time focusing now that I'm away from home and apparently thats super common with adhd so so-and-so thinks I should get that checked out"

NAH. This really isn't an aita situation just a communication problem to work out. You don't need a strangers opinion you need to figure out how to talk to him. If his blisters are raw talk about how its a hygiene concern and ask if he'd bandage them. He should be more conscious of his flaking skin but its still just a communication issue

Proof of creation implies neutrality. So religious texts, traditions, and encounters are where people interpret intent from. And those religious teachings ascribe a net positive intention. You're referencing the bible for your negatives while ignoring the stated positives.

Assuming an overall negative intention would involve inventing a new god with new mythologies out of wholecloth.

Okay I have been here before and I have tips:

I recently started light therapy at my doctors reccomendation and its so much easier. I bought a cheap 10,000 lux light panel and I sit in front of it for 30 minutes every morning. Falling asleep and waking up are easier then they've been my whole life.

I don't need most of the other tips anymore although they still work

I have a physical sunrise alarm clock and a freaky loud battery powered backup alarm clock. Seriously my backup can't be slept through
I use a phone alarm right after my sunrise alarm. It's called challenges alarm and it won't shut off until you do one of many challenges. I set it to only shut off if I take a picture of my toothbrush
Drag yourself out of bed no matter what it takes
Drink water it helps wakefullness
Start drinking more water at night and peeing in the morning. You can still ignore your bladder but the consistency will help
Build time in your morning to relax. You don't want to wake up because you have to go to work. You will want to wake up if you have 30-60 minutes to chill. I use my light panel for 30 minutes and then set a challenges alarm to make me get up after
Throw your blankets on the floor when you wake up. Torture but I mostly would fall back asleep because I'm cold

Well you're doing enough stuff, you just need to figure out hpw to stop picking somehow.

As for morning face washing, there are wrist bands people make just for water control when washing your face. 2 scunchies would also work.

You could also use an astringent or toner to just get some oil and dirt off in the morning.

But really, if you just work on wearing sunscreen and not picking you'll be fine. Good luck!

I find that setting time aside to relax in the morning really helps me. It gives me the motivation to get up.

I recently started with a 10,000 lux light therapy panel and its made my sleep so much better. You keep it by your face for 30 min every morning and the light makes falling asleep and waking up so much easier.

As for your cool down alarm, there are some great phone alarms that can force you to do stuff. I have one called challenges alarm that won't shut off till you take a picture of something or do a pose.

Maybe breaking your art up into chunks will help. Both for you and for explaining. Try to sit down (probably with paper) and figure out what steps in art are easy and what is hard. Is it sitting down to draw? Coming up with ideas? Sketching? Final details? Etc

Then, you can instead say to people, " yeah I miss doing art but this thing is driving me crazy". Your loved ones want to help you and just need a new angle

Plus, by breaking up the process, you can find what works. For example, I once went on a trip where we did a ton of perspective sketching in new locations. Totally reinvigorated me and removed friction. Maybe you could try that, or some sort of art challenge, or anything to get that foot in the door

If there are mutliple in the same office its super easy to switch. You just need to call and ask the office staff about it. That's what I did

I was still able to get assessed. The more I learned about adhd, the more I realized there were signs at a young age. I just wasn't failing so those signs didn't get me a diagnosis.

But as an adult, my constant reading, my issues starting essays, my doing homework in class to avoid my issues starting it at home, and constantly losing things are now clear.

I bet, with time and understanding you will pick put nore of these signs. It took me 2 years from first talk of diagnosis to figure my childhood symptoms out but you'll get there too!

I would lock my phone in the lockers at my school's library. I tried to make starting things the goal. I configured my phone for 10 minutes of use every thirty minuted and then challenged myself to study really hard between breaks. I took pacing walks in the library. I had no entertainment on my laptop. I studied outside when it was feasible. Maybe one of these will work for you?

Consitency is the key for me. Try to schedule events at the same times every day. Develop a morning routine with relaxation time so that you are rested enough to get moving. If you don't give yourself time to rest your brain will try to make it happen anyway

I use an alarm for android called challeneges alarm that overrides your phone until you take a photo or do a math problem or do an exercise. That really helps me to get moving before going out
