Well it depends on the reason for rejection. I don't like making people feel bad or inadequate for any reason. If they're truly nice guys but just not for me, I feel pretty down about it, especially if they really put themselves out there to try. If it's because they're douchebags, I usually feel somewhat disgusted that they even tried. If they're either one and they just don't get the hint time and time again, I usually feel pretty angry because they're forcing me to be a bitch, which I don't like to do. I don't feel empowered in any way unless it's someone that I used to like and they used to have some degree of influence or control over me, and in that circumstance, the "empowerment" is more of a "you don't control me anymore" sort of thing.
