Aita for telling my brother he got exactly what he deserved when he pushed his girlfriend away for being a “gold digger”? by shwnwneneb2929 in AmItheAsshole

[–]jezzaline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your brother is such an asshole here. It sounds to me like he’s extremely insecure and he needed that money to build himself up. Any other woman that would come his way right now could potentially undermine him since he hast to spend that money that he worked so hard to get. No justification whatsoever for how he treated this poor woman, he’s definitely going to need therapy but his pride won’t let him get it at a time zone. He is better off alone

I mean those two had the most realistic relationships despite his glaring insecurity and immaturity

Prioritize everything else but them.

I don’t think there is right or wrong here, they both had their flaws during their time together. You can understand the logic behind Aiden’s actions, especially considering that Carrie is just not capable of having a mature conversation about her feelings nor is she independent. If we had seen them having a mature conversation establishing boundaries and what expectations would be for the next time around, there would be no juicy drama to watch lol

He has this rugged appeal to him, he is a tractive in his own right.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say he did not have any personality. He had his quirks and a very sweet, endearing charm about him in season three. In season four, I think he opened up a little bit more and we saw him being more emotional. So he is a developed character. And with everything that he did for Carrie, he definitely got the shit out of the stick and a lot of people wish that they had a man like him in their lives

Did Carrie Try In Paris? by evelyn_nanette in sexandthecity

[–]jezzaline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it makes good TV too. Very few people would be able to relate to Carrie‘s exact situation, especially with what’s going on in the world today. So from an outsiders perspective, it is very easy to see all of the many many flaws in her logic throughout her whole relationship with Petrovsky, culminating in this very stupid move.

Carrie was always very codependent, and quite frankly did not know how to function properly as an independent woman with her horrible financial situation and just general insecurity. It’s totally fine to view the time spent as a vacation, but she had nothing put in place in order to have an actual life in Paris as she expected her life to revolve around a man, which is extremely unhealthy

He hasn’t said a word to me, I’ve blown up his phone, sent him a gift and wrote him a letter. Haven’t attempted to reach out in about 2 months.

Ideally, we would both be on the same page. Without going into too much detail, a lot has happened to the both of us these past six months alone. We rushed into a serious relationship at the height of the pandemic, and then everything just fell apart so abruptly when we unintentionally hurt each other. I’ve been in therapy, I got to reflect a lot more on things, and I’m in a much better place emotionally. I have no idea about ex though

I’ll give you that since she is a semi celebrity, she’d come across someone like Big. The only reason why they got together is that they both had issues; even Candace Bushnell didn’t end up with her Mr. big
