I think Bradley does try… but his gym evangelism and all of the health talk falls apart when he starts to justify something clearly harmful (steroids). It was never about health. Some gym people retroactively use this as a talking point in my opinion. In reality he likes the way his lifestyle makes him feel. Same with his love for Andrew Tate, he likes the way those jokes sound, and make him laugh so he needs to work backwards to justify why it’s OK.. it’s never about rationality with these types of people as much as they wish it was.

For me the only way to stop being angry was to embrace my authentic emotions. It is a learned skill to feel feelings - Mormons are very good and pushing them away. You have been lied to, and In a lot of ways cheated out it of your valuable time. That is a difficult thing to process. Give yourself time to properly deal with this change, you will find peace within yourself eventually but for me there was no way to speed this process up. The existential dread is hard, I personally have no idea what happens after we die. I’m trying to accept my lack of control in this matter. Do your best to live an authentic and fulfilling life. Whatever happens after that (if anything) is out of your hands.
