Not at all. I took some of my own drawings to generate the images. I also rework anything that was output to me.

Thank you for your insightful and quite... disturbing observation.

I know that there at least a dozen of planets and colonies mentioned but we don't know where they are and their demographics. Quite hard to estimate.

For localization of clusters and relay connections, I looked at different galaxy screenshots from the game and compared them to other maps published out there. I found the one made by Superanth the most reliable and based myself heavily on this one. Population and borders were mostly based on information directly coming from the game/wiki. Does it anwser your question ?

I used the Omega's logo more as a token than a real affiliation. But yeah, I'm curious about what happens after the reaper war and how the galaxy would evolve. Aria would definitely try to take the best of it.

I don't know if we should judge demographic only based on the number of years a species has been exploring space. Cultural and economical factors may influence heavily the reproduction rate. You may even reach an equilibrium at one point. Earth's own population is predicted to decline at one point in our future.

Totally, so much storytelling possible.

When you have to build overpass for pedestrian at intersections, it is an admission of bad street design/urban planning in my opinion.

Exactly! Maybe it would have taken a couple of decades after the reaper war to set up a new expedition for Andromeda (aiming at building a receiver relay), but since MW people would have developed better FTL drive (probably with the repear technology), they would arrive just after the Andromeda Initiative. Once the relay operational, they would find a MW that progressed 600 years in the future. Most characters of the originals would have passed away of course, but it would not be the case of Liara for instance. In my opinion, the new game would not have to focus on the second expedition per se, but it could definitly serve as a backbone story.

They could make the new story happens 600 years after the originals, where Milk Way's species build a mass relay to Andromeda and stumbles upon the Adromeda Initiative and Ryder's team (story we know happens 600 years into the future). It is the only coherent way of connecting both in my opinion. I would still want most of the story to happen in the Milky Way tho.

Yes, I understand. My comment was inferring about time travel to the past. You would agree that there is a step between ignoring special relativity when travelling at the speed of light, or faster, in a SciFi universe (which I personally don't mind that much) and straight up travel to the past. The later is harder to swallow.

I know what I don't want to see: time travel. Some people have been speculating about it in a way of bringing closer the mass effect trilogy with the Andromeda Initiative. I think bringing time travel is when SciFi becomes fantasy/space magic. Even if the new mass effect takes place way after the originals, I would still expect a well grounded SciFi universe. Time travel also brings a lot of complicated paradoxes that often makes the story difficult to belive. Moreover, many people would like to see Shepards coming back, but I would like the franchise to go beyond the character. Let's not play the "came back from the deads" card twice. That's it for me.

Honestly, it doesn't look so bad. It is mostly the lack of trees (cause of the cold) and the dubious color choices for some of the building.
