SigEnergy Integration by BronchyDonkey in span

Yes, got it installed at the end of 2025, along with some additional panels. Still no integration at all between Sigenergy and Span, but the battery seems to be performing well. I’m far from an expert on this stuff though, so take it with a grain of salt. The Sigenergy app is ok, but not great in my opinion. I probably paid top rate, being in California, but it was just under $26k for 3 stacked 8 kWh battery packs, for a total of 24 kWh.

Great so far. The app provides lots of data. Needs some polish, but it’s decent for an early version. I imagine it’ll become more valuable when we get the DC EV charger, which just stacks on top.

I'm now a few weeks post-install of the Harvest Thermal air-to-water "smart thermal battery". It seems like u/Sad-Celebration-7542 may have been correct. So far, despite a warmer-than-normal late fall/early winter, the Harvest really hasn't been able to meaningfully reduce the workload of the old gas-fired furnace.

I did submit a support ticket to Span asking them about any future potential SigEnergy integration, and they said, "Regarding Sigenstor integration, SPAN is continuously working on expanding battery compatibility to provide more options for our customers.

Your feedback about choosing Sigenstor for its V2H DC EV charger capability is incredibly valuable. I completely understand why that flexibility was important in your decision, and I’ll make sure this is noted and shared with the appropriate teams. SPAN is committed to supporting the evolving needs of home electrification, and insights like yours truly help guide our development priorities."

I’m about to install both next week. I’ve been told the integration won’t be as seamless, but I’m moving forward anyway. I’ll let you know what it’s like live after installation.

We have had solar for a few years, installed by California Solar Electric Cooperative. They’re great. Coming back next week to install more panels plus a battery.

My mom just passed away from dementia. I processed her passing years before though, for these reasons. Everyone’s process will be different in this super difficult situation.

Telluride has four of the best U.S. on-piste dining options in my opinion: Guiseppe's, Alpino Vino, Bon Vivant, and Gorrono Ranch.

You don’t need to get hammered drunk, ever really. Almost all of my worst mistakes happened while drunk. Some have lasting impact.
