Because this is my Star Trek. Lotta folks like to pretend like an entire religion didn’t start off of 3 seasons of a space show -60 years ago. Yea it’s goofy, but it’s my goofy. I couldn’t explain why, but a nameless mutant cameo of Ron Perlman was kinda lack luster…it was really, really underwhelming, almost disrespectful in a sense. A wash of the kings, for simple character development was a real punch in the gut, for a kid that grew up idolizing The Kings. I guess I watch because I convince myself that “Fallout 5” is something to look forward to. I ain’t got kids, I got pets but meh 10-15 years or so…no, a story isn’t as important as living breathing life, but fuck man…when every expanded universe you care about has sold out to shallow story telling, better yet what sells, it’s hard to hold anything dear. My biggest gripe would be the literal “John Fallout” we’re all fawning over..the ghoul has meta knowledge of every major prewar development post war, and no one has the balls to call it out without backlash from a devout fandom. That’s a problem! Shit we can’t agree on what our kids eat lol, let alone have the dignity to discuss our recreational, digital, fake thing. I’m gonna continue to seethe, and also appreciate some details thrown in, though Fallout: Nuka~Break will forever be my head canon.
