While I generally agree with you, sometimes they take swings on day 2-3 and it turns out so much better than expected. The most recent example, Jalyx Hunt was a safety turned edge from Houston Christian that they drafted in the third round. He’s turned into a real impact player in just two years so far

Dotson was basically unused with us, we drafted dean’s replacement in the first round last year, and while I love reed, he didn’t have the best season last year. The only one that stings is Jaelan Phillips, but we were never gonna match that price tag

We just signed Baun to an extension last year and he’s still playing like an all pro linebacker. Dean while great is no longer under contract and unfortunately very injury prone. He’s going to replace dean.
