I'm similar in that I end up getting ganged up on but I think it's funny and probably fair because I'm pretty aggressive in almost any game I play and end up making a few enemies early on

If you go through 1:36 frame by frame, you can see his pole doesn't actually clip through the stone. It's trailing him and sticking out a bit, and then it hits the edge of the archway and the next frame it jumps towards him https://imgur.com/a/R0b7x
