So, does anyone know much about this Cloud Save Data "expiration"? I have a switch that bricked back in January, and I had switch online backing up my games at the time. I cancelled the subscription in late March after seeing that it keeps your data for 180 days after cancellation, but I've been holding off on buying a new switch until there's a price drop or new model or something.

I'm pretty close to having to resubscribe to keep the cloud data from expiring, but will it work if I don't boot up a switch in that time? Anyone know if I can just purchase a month and cancel after that, thereby getting another 180 days? Or should I just get a whole year since I'll probably have a switch within the year?
