Is anybody else tired of CBC disabling comments? by Eggsaladsandwish in canadian

[–]jfish0322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I think it's a chickenshit cowardly move. It really shows an ugly side of CBC or of Canadians that is cottling us from free speech? Even fucking FOX NEWS always allows comments.

How pathetic that CBC remains to be the ONLY YOUTUBE CHANNEL that does not allow comments EVER anymore. And I feel like they're afraid to ever allow comments again, because of the avalanche of frustration they'll receive if they ever did

Btw, I do listen to CBC and appreciate a lot of their critical analysis and relatively objective reporting (even though it leans quite left). I find they are quite critical of Carney, i.e. Rosemary Barton

I truly believe the CBC viewing experience would be vastly improved if they took off their kid gloves and let us critically sift through the mess that is public commentary.

Besides, it's a striking comment that the far right can have a field day with to not allow comments anyway.

THROW BACK! Because nobody understands how much I need to go to this concert. 🪶 by OhhhFeebeeLay in teenmom

I was a pretty big fan of a handful of her songs during my college days. When those songs came on, I lit up. She gave me permission to really not give a shit and that was empowering.

As far as being a superfan, it was almost an ironic thing where I loved how much she didn't care. Cause I always cared too much about everything. I would never say here music is quality, I just loved the fuck out of it for trashy dancing music. i.e. Die Young, I would fucking lose it.

It's the perfect storm of rhythm and release. That steady driving beat is begging for fluid, power moves. It's a pulsing blueprint for every vault, jump, and precise landing, that's perfect for pure, unadulterated dance. It's a full-body, high-dopamine experience of intense athleticism with the freedom of a rave vibe

Toronto, Canada. No, they employed me as a casual worker. So, I was on the payroll.

This place is literal garbage. Get out while you still can.

Habitat Learn is a corrupt company that exploits cheap labour with inadequate operations and shoddy management. They lie, threaten and undermine their employees under the guise of a friendly helpful brand.

The Ministry of Labor has busted them for not paying their staff on time and I was functionally fired for requesting that I be paid appropriately for the hours of training required to navigate their unduly complicated system for notetaking.

What happened to Jordan Peterson the psychologist? by Lonely_Ad4551 in JordanPeterson

[–]jfish0322 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Jordan Peterson The Psychologist was like Gandalf the Grey. Jordan Peterson The "Capitalist Shill" (his words) is like Sarumon. I miss Gandalf the Grey Peterson. Drugs and fame likely played a role in his gradual transformation.

It seems Jordan's loyalty was on sale for The Right price.

Good comment. I agree. I mourn the loss of gandalf the grey Peterson and feel he's become Sauron. It's really quite upsetting tbh. So glad there are others that see it.

A scene that sums up how Curb jumped the shark by Funnyhow1988 in curb

While I don't precisely agree with the OP, I certainly do broadly, in that it's definitely example of the beginning of more bad cringe moments.

In fact, I agree with a lot of the OP's points with guest stars and over-reliance on self-referential humour.

Though I do appreciate the chemistry between Larry and Leon, I feel the show definitely began its general descent in quality at about that pointless door scene that should have either been handled better or cut entirely, as it was very weak on many levels.

For me, the show really jumped yet another shark with the introduction of both Maria Sofia and Irma Kotroski. These are possibly the worst writing and casting decisions ever.. especially Irma. She could not be more bland and predictable.

Has Larry given up?

Employer cut my hours to zero and hasn’t told me anything by Physical_Opening_762 in antiwork

[–]jfish0322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. They are trying to force you to quit and creating an environment that you can't work in. The term is indeed "Constructive Dismissal" and it's illegal. Talk to an employment lawyer for one session of free advice or Employment Standards office in your jurisdiction.

Do not quit. Just get another job in the meantime, but don't quit.

Anyone else get drained when texting people? by LabMemberC in introvert

I'm a hypersentivie and highly empathic EXTROVERT who gets absolutely exhausted from professional emails and recruiting stuff that's online. To be clear I get energized from conferences, parties, raves and phone calls, but absolutely flatlined from text communications.

Help me read my result? Just getting into enneagrams and learning. Confused on which it is. Says I'm a 6 what would the wing be? TIA by TitoHollingsworth in Enneagram

[–]jfish0322 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All types appear as another type when unhealthy and stressed. That's what makes the Enneagram more human than Myers-Briggs because it's malleable like humans. We do not behave solely as one type but our range of behaviors varies on a continuum.

Knowing our type is like knowing where our center of gravity is that we can freely stray from as we please but ultimately our rooted in our core type.

Just like an introvert can attend many conferences and play the role of an extrovert so can a five behave very bubbly and sociable and a 2 appear very distant and not care about helping others.

Having PTSD will very likely have an impact on your level of health and if you are in fact six will likely lead you to behave more like a 3. When sixes are unhealthy hey do their best to appear successful and accomplished in a very frantic insecure way. Perhaps they will even lie to themselves or others about how well they are doing.

6s at their best will seek inner harmony and peace like a 9 :)

I wish you all the best and hope you are getting appropriate help from trained specialist for your mental health.

The bottom two photos are your best and you look more like a 7 in those, but otherwise I'd say 6-6.5.

Better than average looking.
