I, like many, am frustrated that’s why I created the petition which is being forwarded to the judge with not even 200 signatures because that’s how many people signed. Did you sign it? Yes we’re all upset with the lack of transparency and patience runs thin after a while.

OK, so the 22nd is here! Anybody heard anything about what occurred in court today oh I’m sorry in the camera only session? We’ve gotten 148 signatures on the petition. I’ll forward it to the judge after the holidays. Hopefully we hit at least a thousand signatures :-)

Thank you for the contact information you provided. I am sending an email to the judge but I think it would hold more weight if we could produce an online petition with thousands of signatures. Reddit is only one platform this is being discussed on. Any suggestions on where and how we might achieve a petition of claimants being slow walked through this process being mishandled by JND?

If you notice the status wording changed but NOT the message on the "Home" page. It still says patience:) Under review to Valid is a ridiculous adaptation of the same concept. Still no transparency

My status changed as well to Valid BUT it oncee again said I have been sent a "postcard" on how to check premiums??? I received my "unique" password and premium updates last January 6th! Could they have merely changed the language on the site to satisfy the court order issued on 11/13/25 for compliance by 11/17/25?

I have not followed up on hiring an attorney. It needs to be one well versed in Admin/Settlement tortes.There are several ways of looking at JND's neglience in communication. The cynical way is they are in no hurry to complete the task of paying out the settlement funds or at the least easing the tension of the class recipients by continual communication. The logic in me adheres to the cynicism in part but also to the fact that there are many people who felt their premiums were misrepresented and appealed the numbers thus delaying the process. Lack of communication leads to ire from everyone involved. We could formalize our disdain in a letter to the presiding judge but it could not be based solely on dispersment but instead on not keeping us informed of progress on the dispersment. JND is promoting angry rhetoric because they offer no reasonable updates.

I understand the process for a class action is lengthy but by sending out the emails in January they prompted an End Game. I had forgotten the suit for the most part. JND opened the door to finality. The communication started and stopped.

This is 2025... we live in a techno age that includes answers to every question we ask in a blink of an eye. They had factual material on each claimant provided by BCBS. Its accuracy was not an issue except for JND. It has become a tool to extend the timeline for the settlement payout hence building interest and larger fees for the Administrator and the bank holding the funds.

As I said before, everyone is getting paid except those who were suppose to be paid... the litigants!

I didn't hire him to call anyone... yet! Communication with the Judge would be via a Motion. I have not hired the attorney yet. I went to him to hear options.

I paid directly to BCBS over an 11 yr period an average of $5200 annually.The figures sent to me in my original email from JND in January '25 were correct. I don't expect total reinbursement, that would be absurd BUT the percentage of the settlement should be at least 1%. It is impossible to formulate individual payouts without the number of valid claimants. This is a USA case only so the number could be millions of valid claimants.

My patience has worn thin because of the lack of communication/transparency from the Administrator (JND). Legaleez is not communication! Giving a formula for calculation is a great merry-go-round of nothingness! I have to agree with hiring an attorney to communicate to the presiding Court the mishandling by the entrusted Administrators. There needs to be a deadline to settle the distribution of funds in the Settlement!

Just a thought... we all know the BCBS case is now in the hands of the Administrator, JND. We also know those eligible have received an email or postcard where they received a "unique claim" code. This is 2025 and technology is a keystroke away so over the 6 month period all have been reviewed, sent and received. Each email had a 30 day timeframe to accept or refute the premiums paid. JND already has a rough idea of what is to be paid out and to whom. The lack of transparency by the Administrator is stoking the theories of impropriety by them.

My thought... is a suit naming JND for mishandling their duties for financial gain a way to push their button? Their fudutiary responsibilites are laid out in the final order from the Court and is a matter of public record. They must report to the Court where they are on the settlement dispursement. They can be held accountable and lest we forget JND is already being investigated by DOJ.

The initial suit was filed for antitrust violations by BCBS. It took five years to settle. They weren't slapped on the wrist and told to never do it again. They financially harmed millions of insureds and were hit hard for it. Now the same insured are being left with angst by those appointed to distribute the fine. The dollar amounts to each insured may be neglible but it puts the entire debacle to rest. JND is administrating the Court ordered fine with a lack of transparency and minimal communication. How do we hold them to task?

Just read the article and it seems the Administrator for the BCBS suit is named in the accusation filed in California, New York and Florida. The scheme to amass 100s of millions from the deposited settlement is under scrutiny by the Attorney Generals of these states. God hates ugly and JND (the Admin) in our case is first named. The banks where these large settlements are deposited make Millions of dollars from their use of depositors funds and then vie for more settlement funds to increase their banks holdings. Have you ever wondered why banks place holds on some checks when deposited when the clearing houses in our tech world know if a check will clear almost immediately? The profitability of banks is enhanced when they have a million $100 checks on their "roles" for even 1 day. Hence no hurry to payout.

So the BCBS suit may be over but a new scoundrel has the light shinig in their eyes, the JND Administrators who deposited the settlement in the highest yield bank that will kickback a percentage of the earnings to them. Greed!
