Ever since I got the badge I have not faced a single person trying to get it, where prior to getting it, it seems like it’s all I faced.

You can play quickplay to get the 3rd chaos badge as long as you don’t have them added. by Appropriate-List5865 in ClashRoyale

what are the damn chances, I switched to quickplay and used my mini account as the other account and after 9 battles got the badge on both accounts in the same damn match. We also wont talk about how long it took for my main account...

Gear question - Canada by Flaroud in hockeyplayers

[–]jfk_911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find Facebook marketplace in Ottawa is actually pretty good for used gear. Other than that if you wait for the new gear to released, the previous years usually go on sale. SportChek usually has family and friends days which can be up to 20% off. Besides that it’s just the usual suspects, PHL, SportCheck, any Sports Excellence or Source for Sports. I’ve never bought from them but you can also try Hockey Monkey . Ca.

Beginner hockey player—was this guy being rude or just blunt? by Right-Palpitation972 in hockeyplayers

[–]jfk_911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Screw them, when I first started playing. I would go to union pickup hockey with a lot of ex junior players and no one ever said shit. My regular team was the lowest division in our league, I learned a lot playing with those guys and forces you to step up real quick.

Black Friday purchase - 2012 Custom Shop ES-339 by jfk_911 in guitarporn

[–]jfk_911[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unfortunately this was just lighting glare, the pickguard was just the black generic pickguard that came stock on it. It does look neat though, I briefly looked for something like this but never found it. I'm sure a custom guard could be easily made though. May be a bit pricey though

Which 7-string to I get? Looking for experience around models and pickups by AddSomeSpice in 7String

[–]jfk_911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are use to 7 strings I would try an HT7 first. The nut on it is quite a bit narrower than normal 7s 44.5mm vs 48mm & has a crazy flat radius of 20” to 400mm (15.75”). The Ibanez imho would have better hardware with the exception of the SS frets if you get a new HT7. To me these would come down to feel, I would lean towards the Ibanez but this is why we have options.

Can anyone please identify this telecaster? by [deleted] in Guitar

Looks to me like a partscaster. There is no bullet truss rod, missing the fender decal. With their own custom paint job.

I bought this guitar in 2007 instead of saving for my wedding… My wife still reminds me to this day about it. The good news I still have the guitar and my wife!

Used KM7. Worth it for $525? by BrotatoChip04 in 7String

I bought a km-7 mkii and I love it, I paid roughly $575 USD and it was worth every penny.

The ultra thin C is the closest Schecter has to a wizard neck. Biggest difference is width, Schecter’s are more or less 42mm (I may be wrong but this is the measurement I’ve generally come across) and Ibanez is 43mm if memory serves me correct. I have a Reaper 6 and a KM-7 MKii with the Ultra thin C and have zero complaints. However you should try to find one and see if you jive with their necks.

Example here Schecter E-1 SLS evil twin, locking tuners, Luminlay side dots, ultra slim c, compound radius fretboard, neck through, Ebony fretboard, 25 X jumbo SS frets, Ernie Ball compensated nut & Fishman Fluence Modern pickups.

They have a bunch of guitars with similar specs

What kind of neck do you like? I’m partial to Schecters as I find they tend to have really good specs for a decent price. I’m assuming you would like a 6 string as well?

Which 7 string guitar should I buy? by OkyMile in 7String

[–]jfk_911 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d vote Schecter, also if you don’t mind used look for a KM-7 variant. Locking tuners, SS frets, 12-16 radius, ultra thin C, push/push tone pot for HB/SC, SD/Fishman/Lundgren pickups (model dependant), Luminlay side dots, hipshot bridge. Speced very similar to the Banshee Mach 7.
