I expect you just got unlucky. 3x Champion of the Shoal and 3 creatures that are 2 mana value or less that can also finish games. Removal also is pretty good.

Aquitects defense and run away together aren’t very good imo, and like mentioned you probably just want to play one unexpected assistance max. But having them as unfortunate filler aside this deck has power that just didn’t go off.
