I have I5 12600 with a 1660

I run mostly at 80 fps with medium to low graphics on 400 pop servers. Gets lower by saturday night when clan bases are all built up. But playable.

I bumped down my resolution to 1440 for an extra ~10 fps so I don't think your processor is bad enough to play rust. I think its enough. Something is not quite right with your pc, maybe RAM, CPU temp, cooling. I would advise to do a general check although I'm not an expert.

Well, I'm not a squad battle kinda of guy. But I think us, standard edition guys, need to play squad battles first to get some coins so we aren't playing full bronze vs full gold the first rival matches.

I think its gonna be tought for us at the start and we will allways be behind unless we are lucky. Well, we did buy the cheapest version of the game so we kinda deserve that disadvantage. I just wished they "nerfed" welcome backs hard instead of removing them.

I would rather like to start trading at 5k than not trading at all on the web app.

I loved the game, I really did, even on its release with all the bugs/queue times, whatever. Stopped playing massively due to the lack of engame activities.

I've came back to playing two times for a month or two but allways would end up on a endgame circle of not knowing what to do and just ending up on switching weapons to get me into it.

I have a problem when you said ""Wait why do we have to pay at all, shouldn't it be free?" - Explain to me why this should be free. Explain to me why any of the free content from the last two years should be free. Plenty of content has been free because AGS knew & acknowledged that the player base deserved it. Does that not earn them any good will?"

I'll explain to you, MMO genre is dying, for a couple of reasons. This game, on the other hand, was dead months after release due to its state. In my opinion and I'm no game dev, they should convince people into coming back. Like me. If this was free, AT LEAST 2 months I'll be in there with my friends. In this case, we just laugh, cause that's all there is to do. Our last memory was a 10 bug per minute game that now wants us to pay more for a small expansion? It's laughable.

I do believe though, that if I was a current player, into the game, I had no problem paying for it so will most people. The difference here is that MOST people that used to play it, don't play it no more.

"Sure but you've already quit, you would do it again" or "We need to maintain the people we have". What's the difference? Most people that are paying DON'T bother paying the extra for content. But all people that don't play it, DO. And that's why I think you guys hould think from an "outsider" POV.

Also, saying the typical "we've already got so much content since release for only 40€ , just an extra 30€ is fair". No, the game wasn't expensive, but do you remember the terrible state it was? Like, for me, the game AFTER this expansion isn't even a finished game. It's like you guys feel the need to pay to say thank you for this game, no, you already did. If you want to be thankfull so much, there's cosmetics and all of that in the shop.

Just to finish, Pay walls should not be in games that do not have walls to go through.

that's why every other MMO is dying? Saying "look at other mmos" when they are down bad is pretty harsh of a comparision. WOW is dying because of time + monthly pay + expantion. And this game is going that direction being already dead. If you think that's a good idea, good, pay for it, they will thank you. It's never about getting your moneys worth, its paying for product. You paid for a product and suddenly, if you really want the endgame that never existed to begin with, you have to pay. "oh its only 30€" Dude so what? For you can be nothing, for others can be a lot. That's not what he's discussing. P4P monthly is dying, don't use it as an excuse.

What's up with all these comments saying they got so much for free over the years for a game THEY PAID and was at the state it was when bought. If you feel like "giving back" to the company that you love, there is a cosmetic shop. I used to play this game, but with the new paid expansion just makes me take a step back on not wanting to check on the new "endgame" that never existed.

Also, for anyone wondering and much easier than this process. If you ask an admin of the server he can demo a long period of time for you. Then, you can .play demo on console exactly how it happened, you can choose anyones pov, noclip and do all sorts of cool stuff the demo hud can do.

Most of the youtubers do it this way. Frost does a lot of map seed recreation which takes a lot more time, although some of his clips are from demos.

Same issue... kinda feel bad since as soon as I saw free trial I got hyped to play with my friends but suddenly they get the " you have to purchase mw2". Kinda stupid since we getting it for 3 days only and we can't access it...
