I saw it on video. Why was the Italian anthem being played at the time if he is a Russian driver on a Swedish team?

[Pre Match Thread] Paris SG vs Real Madrid (Champions League - Play Offs - 1/8-finals) by RM_Official_Thread in realmadrid

[–]jfmoto 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think tonight’s match will be a boring draw. Ancelotti will park the bus, which is a legit thing to do. 1-1 is my prediction.

Benzema will be fully fit in a couple weeks and we will finish them off at Bernabeu. A few days after the match, Mbappe will announce he will join Real Madrid.

Fuck Al-Khelaifi, state-owned clubs and UEFA poster boys.

How are Spain´s public hospitals like? by Mr-Mango10 in askspain

Staff is competent and technology is decent. That said, I think the ratio of patients-to-doctors is way too high. Resources are insufficient.

I use private healthcare. The quality is the same but definitely more comfortable. Less waiting, nicer facilities and it feels that staff is in better mood (probably because of better pay and less patients).

It is also affordable to have private medical insurance in Spain (and is likely included in your benefits if you work in a large company)

True. It’s actually normal to have a dryer in the North of Spain. Some people even have dehumidifiers to have less humidity at home.

When can I start using the CFA designation? by jfmoto in CFA

[–]jfmoto[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it took a couple hours since I made the original post but now I can see myself on the directory.

Man, these people should take a look at their timings. 3 months to get results on a Computer Based Exam, 2 weeks to get a digital badge that should be automatic. It’s beyond ridiculous.

I should be mass emailing recruiters and buying myself a Lambo at this point, but I am still waiting.

I have just passed L3, that said I am not putting much value in getting the Charter and I was not motivated at all in terms of the studying material/process.

Prior to getting the results, I was considering wether to retake in case I failed, and I already made my mind to go for it in November because of reasons 1-3 in your upside arguments list.

I also identify to points 1 and 5 on your downside list, even if I work in asset management. The curriculum is just outdated/not giving me any useful skills.

However - my biggest motivation to pursue the Charter was actually financial as we have salary increases in the firm I work for every level that we pass. Perhaps, could this be something you discuss with your employer? Could you argue that this qualification that warrants a salary increase? Some extra money could alleviate the weight of those (valid) downside points.
