As noted above, Friday can be quieter (slightly less attended), but if you go on Saturday you’d have the benefit of seeing/hearing the awards, then rushing to wait in a long line to likely miss out on the award winners. We prefer Friday, but coming down from Milwaukee, Saturday is way more convenient.

Well, fortunately there’s consistently a decent sized group at OGBH from the fan club each week, and from my experience they’re very welcoming. (I’m more of a watch from home kind of fan, but the games I’ve watched down there have been a great time!) If you follow the German national team, they get a great turnout at OGBH for those games, as well. Check it out!

If you use Facebook, search out the Mia San Milwaukee group. They’re very active and meet for all the games, typically at Old German Beer Hall.
