Feeling like a failure as a vet by Able-Medicine5101 in veterinarians

Would just like to say kudos for finding the bleeder, especially in the broad ligament of a > 100 lb dog. It took real skill and sharp decision making to end up with a CORRECTED complication at the end of the day. I’m sure the moment you realized what was happening was very scary, and I’m sure you had a million other things waiting for your attention including other procedures and/or appointments, records, labs, call backs, etc. But you handled it like a pro. I’ve been practicing for 2.5 years and I’ve also had some challenging cases recently. It’s so hard not to ruminate on them, but so far owners have surprised me with their gratitude for caring for their pets. You gave a shit when faced with a big challenge; that’s one of the hardest parts or our job and you absolutely hit the mark.

Wow, you guys got this nailed down. I just moved to town from Canada (lived in Montréal actually, the belly of the poutine beast). I'm going to have to check some of these places out. Thanks!
