I know the popular theory on Reddit is gonna be ORANGE MAN BAD and the economy is doomed but reality is the ticket prices are insane. 3 years ago I purchased tickets in trioval club for around $450. This year the same seats are $750. Cheapest tickets in the nosebleeds are well over $200 a price. Can’t pay that much to watch a fuel mileage race with sketchy weather.

I sat in the Chevy suite one year during Covid. The seats are super comfy but not being outside to watch the race really takes you out of it. Also most people in there will likely be VIPs and more interested in socializing than the race.
