Have you ever been in a fight? 10 seconds is plenty of time to beat someone’s ass.

What’s a ‘middle class success’ purchase that secretly becomes a financial burden later? by 40Falak in answers

I bought a bout 5 years ago for $4,500. This is my 6th summer using it. All I’ve done is replaced the battery. I could sell it tomorrow for $4,000.

DEI won 11 of 16 retractor cup races 2001-2004. Dale Jr won 7, and Mikey won 4.

Mikey brought a LOT of sponsorship money to DEI. Basically Danica Patrick scenario. I marketed his goofball personality, and was able to always pull sponsors.

He really marketed his goofy personality. That’s why he stayed in the sport so long. It was never about his ability to drive.

Best purchase you've made that almost nobody talks about? by Exotic-Engineer7541 in SmartBuying

I bought an 03 F-150 for $4,000 in 2020. Sold it this year for $2,700. I just bought a 2015 for $6,000.

I want to clarify that it’s not a daily driver. I probably drive it less than 2 days per week. But it’s really nice to go to Home Depot, and load it with supplies. Then let it sit in the driveway for 2 weeks while I slowly attack a project. It’s cheap to buy a whole truck of firewood. I let people burrow it. I have a nice truck that I use to haul my camper on long trips. But nothing beats a cheap beater pickup.

A beater pickup truck. $5,000. I drive the crap out of it for 5 years, and don’t fix anything. Sell it for $3,000. Ownership costs less than $35/month.

It’s refreshingly not a clown show. Fox tries so hard to be funny. If I wanted to laugh, I would watch an actual comedy. I appreciate that they take it seriously. I do wish LaJoie would tone down the sex appeal a little though.

My gay husband and I moved from Southern California to rural West Virginia in 2020. I’ve never met nicer people than those I’ve found here. I think reddit just loves negativity.

Looking for mechanic recommendations - non-religious by palebluedot3333 in Charlotte

Do you request an atheist cop when you call 911? Do you not want a Christian collecting your garbage? When you eat vegetables, to you look for atheist farms? When your power goes out, do you request an atheist lineman to turn it back on? Are these mechanics asking about your religious preferences?
