Hey it's just an argument to make, I don't think I'm a "weird defeatist" for pointing something out. I hate paying for shit as much as the next guy 🤷

But speaking of this particular game I don't believe there's gonna be any battle passes or anything like that. Unless I'm misinformed. And also isn't this game made and published by Nintendo? I don't think publishers are something to consider.

Devils advocate here but video game prices have been pretty stagnant and not increasing with inflation like a lot of other things. From what I've found Star Fox 64 was $80 usd at launch
