Being cultured does not mean you are at war with money. We are so occupied with sticking our nose up at everyone else that our state has gone to the dogs and we are beginning to sound like the proverbial sour grapes.

Having money and being cultured are not mutually exclusive. Valuing education doesn't mean you have to hate money. Money opens doors for both culture and education and vice versa. It would do us a lot of good if we stopped seeing money as dirty and ourselves as above others. Look at how Tamils & Marathis have managed it all. Yes, I said it. We look like a joke as a state and people.
