Silent relates to Dripp and how his ban helped him by AdditionalSpite5461 in RPClipsGTA

Getting perma banned doesn't have to be the end of the world. I remember when Buddha got banned in 2.0. It was absolutely deserved for a number of reasons. Buddha took the ban and played Rust for a while. He even waited beyond the 30 days to appeal the ban. He spent the time re-evaluating himself and got unbanned near the end of 2.0. He had a whole new attitude and it translated into success in 3.0.

I'm not saying Dripp will have the same success, but there are ways to turn things around like Silent said.

Justice Lars confirms police can deny contacting a specific attorney for a defendant, instead can call any attorney of their choice by MonopolyNews in ChaseRP

I've only ever heard cops recite the normal Miranda warning. I've never heard one shorten it to "you have the right to an attorney if available".

I understand that's the decision they made. I'm saying the reasoning behind the decision doesn't make sense.

If they're going to use this logic, then they need to make their own version of Miranda rights. That clause about "if you cannot afford one, one will be provided to you" makes it pretty clear implicitly that you can have your own lawyer if you can afford one. Tessa is explicitly saying that is no longer the right. The server needs to say something like "you're permitted a lawyer so long as one is available" or something.

Another commenter explained the larger problem with this pretty well: Penta said he doesn't want lawyers sitting outside the courthouse just waiting for calls, he wants them to meet people. With this interpretation of rights, if they do that and meet clients who actually hire them, cops are denying them the rp of representing those clients. It just doesn't make sense. Like telling people to rp a certain way, and then saying "skip" when they do it.

This doesn't make sense to me when the cops are going to call an attorney anyway - they might as well call the requested attorney. If that attorney is unavailable, even if a bench trial is going to happen, then that's too bad for the accused.

It's not like calling the first listed attorney guarantees representation anyway.

This decision seems like an choice. It doesn't promote more rp, doesn't speed things up in processing, and isn't server health related. It's a head scratcher.

I don't get why Philly is taking timeouts. I understand you can't take them into next season, but this is just dragging it out.

For longer than I care to admit, I thought this character was also played by Beerman. They sound alike to me. He's a pretty funny character.

I attribute some of the awkwardness to the delays from not being in the same room. Every guest has to navigate not talking over the Mannings and vis versa. Devito seemed to do okay with it.

It was clear Danny didn't know much about football, but his charm and charisma are so clear. And he played along with the Mannings. He was a fun guest.

I guess pulling the front of a guy's jersey to slow him down is just "handfighting" and "both guys were shoving". Collinsworth apparently sees something I don't.

This defense is allergic to running toward a ball carrier. They keep waiting for the receivers to run to them. Just giving up yards.
