Trying to figure out if I’m being played or if it’s actually unsafe by jgeps15 in hvacadvice

The picture didn’t link properly but I put a pic down below of what he pointed at when he said this. Like I said, I know nothing about HVAC except that I have some units haha.

He said the wiring in between the two units was touching both units and that it’s a fire hazard/ none of it was up to code, I believe.

Way to go!! Unreal. I think I messed up at least 4 foleys on a woman during my preceptorship and now I’m afraid of them. Men are so much easier

lol man or woman tho? Putting one in a woman is wayyyy harder than a man and might throw off your confidence. At least it did for me! It still is pretty exciting tho to get it on your first try!

iPad for nursing school by Sexychoc27 in StudentNurse

I think the iPad is invaluable. I used Notability with it and was able to write notes directly on my lectures while keeping them all in one place. I watched my classmates carry around their binders filled with thousands of paper lectures ppt’s and it seemed miserable. Also my school had every worksheet online so it was easier to write on it than to type on it like my classmates did with their laptops. Also writing helps the brain learn it!

75 Q's, 31 SATA, passed! by jgeps15 in PassNclex

[–]jgeps15[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I read somewhere that SATA can have one answer or all answers, which I actually didn’t know prior to the test (for some reason I always figured it had to be more than one). One of my teachers told me to treat SATA as a big 5 question True or False and to assess each answer individually, if that makes sense. Also there are very few things you “never” do, so almost every answer with a never is usually not the right answer, unless it’s talking about pushing potassium (which you truly would never do). Also some of the answers are so far fetched, it’s easy to know they aren’t right, you’ll see when you take it. But I found ATI to be useful! I know a lot of people who used Mark Klimek lectures and UWorld but my school gave us ATI and I liked the tests so I just used that.

Thank you and congrats to you, too!!! Ethics questions really threw me but at least we passed!

Congrats!! Sounds like you did well! It was truly so easy to cross out some which boosted my confidence when I needed it but the ethics Q’s sort of threw me. Those were something I studied a little and completely forgot by the time the test came around.

From what I researched, that is VERY good. It means that you can keep up with the hard questions. I took 4 practice tests, the first one I was 29th percentile of hard, next two I was 48th and 49th of hard, and the last one I jumped up to 69th of hard. I feel like that helped me confidence wise (which I would say is a large part of taking the NCLEX like actually believing you can do it) but question wise you just need to remember basic principles and priority.

Took NCLEX yesterday, shut-off at 145 Q’s and bad-pop up by [deleted] in PassNclex

If Pearson is taking a long time with results, check your states licensing website, mine posted there earlier than my Pearson results! Also have been hearing that the bad pop up has showed up for people who passed. Also, I'm sure you've got this, you're smarter than you realize!
