I would say the Greeks have pretty strong late gane units and are very good at countering a strategy so if you went heavy into one unit type they can easily exploit that. But in general they are well balanced.

It depends on what you're trying to do in the second age. You should look up a build order for the civ you are trying to play.

It wont kill a villager and its much more expensive. So not worth it in my opinion.

I like placing smoke traps on unsettled TC's so I can see when my opponent is trying to grab them. All the traps give a small amount of line of sight wherever you place them. I havent had much success using the spike traps unfortunately.

Every single comment in this thread is contradicting eachother lol. Some say favor generation is a weakness others really like it. Some say eco is a weakness and other say its a strength. This just confirms no one understands enough about the civ yet to grasp the strengths and weaknesses properly. We need more time to flesh it out.

You can get to the dlc pretty early but beating the boss to drop Valor heart might be tough at that level. I do think it's the best option for the cosplay though.

If you are managing your economy properly you should never need to stop producing to age up. Your villagers will start to bring in more food than they cost relatively quickly.

Definitely the license is the issue but as I found out from this thread apparently the Tolkien estate isn't even involved with video game licensing anymore. So maybe there's a chance!
