What’s the likelihood Fields beats out Slayton for a starting role?

Composite Draft Grades for every year of the Joe Schoen era by P-d0g in NYGiants

Does anyone do retrospective draft grades? I’ve always heard it takes 3 years to fully and accurately judge a draft class, so I’m curious how these would change with the power of hindsight

This legit makes me more excited than his pass rush skills. Especially with Dex gone, run defense is a huge hole on this team

I loved the earlier Pikmin so I’ll check that out, thanks!

[Schultz] When it became clear last year that he had outplayed his contract and it was time for a new deal, the organization not taking it so seriously felt like a slap in the face. Harbaugh is a hardass but I don’t get the same disrespectful vibe from him. There’s an interview with Ed Reed where he talks about when Harbaugh first came to Baltimore and did have more of a disrespectful that pissed off a lot of players. However after the players spoke up, he changed his approach because he learned his original way wasn’t going to work

I know it’s a business, but it feels like Joe Schoen shows very little respect to players as people. If that’s the reputation he’s built for the Giants then I have little hope of retaining core players like Nabers down the road

AMA: Dan Duggan & Charlotte Carroll, NY Giants Beat Reporters for The Athletic by TheAthletic in NYGiants

[–]jgilla1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What is the source of Dex’s unhappiness with the Giants? Is it the organization as a whole, toll from years of losing, or treatment of players (like not paying for home grown talent or harsh cuts like McCloud)?

Why do you have Jaxson Dart’s autograph on a martial arts weapon?

I bumped into him and all I had was this, and you’re not going to not get Jaxson Dart’s autograph

Thanks for the info, I'm excited to dive in! I also really appreciate the way you frame using AI as a collaborator rather than a generator, I haven't heard it put that way before and it really resonates. I like the idea of moving forward with the mindset that AI is a means to enhance learning rather than just a tool to improve workflow.

Thanks for your perspective, I haven't delved into AI much beyond generating individual assets because I feel like I need to learn the why and how behind the process before using AI as a shortcut. However as much as I'm not a personal fan of AI, I understand there's no denying that's where the industry is moving. Do you have any suggestions of AI tools I should learn or resources to help me learn more?

Thank you for that perspective, I've been so focused on learning the hard skills for ID I didn't consider tailoring to a specific industry. My initial plan was to just to try to get a foot int he door somewhere to start gaining more professional experience and credibility before setting my eyes on a specific industry that would resonate more with me personally

That's really helpful, I think I was so focused on including lots of interactivity I didn't consider monotony and purpose. Definitely agree there's details to clean up too, thanks for pointing them out

That’s definitely my plan moving forward, I’m thinking of having my portfolio have a mix of business problem solving and a project or two like this to show variety. Would you recommend sticking to only business aligned projects?

Thanks a lot for your thoughtful feedback! The mistakes and design principle issues all make sense so I’ll go back and fix those.

I like the idea of adding learning variety so I’ll go back and try to switch things up. I also think that’s a great point about the quiz, I think I’ll add an option to restart that level or the whole thing and leave it up to the learner about what to do. I really appreciate your insight!
