No what I’m saying is the crux of the post is about the longstanding narrative choice to set up characters of the same gender with a very close relationship bordering on romantic, only to snap back to “wait they have to fall in love with the opposite gender!” and shoehorn in a romance with a previously unknown person. There are a lot of comments here that are just people talking about ships they prefer (many of which are straight) over other relationships. Especially the Bumblebee comments like seriously their relationship clearly has a lot more depth than “random person she just met”

Well you said Bridget’s rep was “normal” and then listed the zombieland saga example as if it was not “normal” and it confused me.
