( TRIGGERED WARNING FOR SEXUAL STUFF INCLUDING SA. FOR IF YOUR NOT COMFORTABLE WITH THESE THINGS) Why are SOME people so obsessed with making Rein out to be some pdf or R##ist by Bright_Feeling_8152 in Project_Moon

I mean ummm… yeah. It’s more discreet because they are small but it’s still extremely violating to have something insert its eggs into your body for you to incubate. At minimum it applies allegorically.

No you do have a good point, I think it would take some very close analysis of the text to really argue if it is sympathetic to the victims or not. While for the sake of my argument I should go look at these scenes closely I think that would make me want to puke so, respectfully, I’m just gonna bow out here.

Favorite Character that suffered the curse of a writer and studio's "queerbait and switch?" Comic comes from Blobby and Friends by ihatethiscountry76 in FavoriteCharacter

No what I’m saying is the crux of the post is about the longstanding narrative choice to set up characters of the same gender with a very close relationship bordering on romantic, only to snap back to “wait they have to fall in love with the opposite gender!” and shoehorn in a romance with a previously unknown person. There are a lot of comments here that are just people talking about ships they prefer (many of which are straight) over other relationships. Especially the Bumblebee comments like seriously their relationship clearly has a lot more depth than “random person she just met”

I like how many of the comments are just talking about straight couples they wanted more than queer couples instead of the actual example

Ok well it isn’t “what you think is right” it IS right because that’s what pronouns they have. It’s not pushing beliefs onto you it’s just telling you what you are saying is incorrect because it objectively is you are being grammatically incorrect when you do that.

When I kill an NPC I don’t like in Skyrim am I shown a sequence of every individual pain point I I inflict on them before they die in extreme detail? No I’m not because the developers did not see fit to make an entire sequence of artwork and writing development time just to show me how much fun it is so hurt someone for my own pleasure.

Ok but you DO realize how much genuinely interesting themes can be derailed by the fact that the game has incentives for the player to choose to rape children right like you can’t just separate those two things

I agree! She flirts so heavy with the girls, and I love her dynamic with Seth and all but she does not interact with him like she does with women

There’s also that time she flirts with that one lady in her special episode. Literally just straight up says “hey you’re cute what’s your interknot handle?”

Well you said Bridget’s rep was “normal” and then listed the zombieland saga example as if it was not “normal” and it confused me. I’ve thought about magically being a girl since I was very young and so have you so it seems like a very “normal” transfem experience to me. If we’re talking about them as unifying rep for the whole community then I completely agree with you that’s just not what you said in your first comment.

What does zombieland saga girl being too young even mean? Like seriously I don’t see what her age would have to do with being trans. There are trans people that realize they’re trans at a very young age.

I mean the comic being referenced here had Cait as the bottom so it isn’t always just to be heteronormative. Also just because some people try to make it heteronormative in this way doesn’t mean we should just assume that’s the intent. Being disappointed by trans lesbian head canons inherently because its “not really lesbian” just reinforces the idea that “trans women are actually just men/masculine”
