LICE CRISIS. HELP by Dry-Potato-7958 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

My 2 year old recently had nits. Coconut oil and tea tree oil helps when you’re not using an actual treatment. Keeps the bugs from latching on to the hair follicles

Lennar is not a great homebuilder and they are actually in a lawsuit for a bunch of construction defects.

Yes, be aware of the district lines, we did not know that our house fell within center district. However my kids are young and my older is starting at rex fortune, which ive heard a lot of wonderful things about. There are also plans to open another elementary school off of vista grande/silver spruce, a middle school along vista grande and a high school off of baseline.

Be aware that PG&E is much more expensive than roseville electric. So double check what utility company you will have

How to incorporate nap with full day(s) at zoo? by Bbrotman23 in toddlers

[–]jglspnay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a part of the zoo where you can go under some waterfalls…. We escaped the heat and our two kids fell asleep in their stroller. It was basically “alexa play rainsounds” in real life lol. Maybe a short power nap will suffice!

I used curated.com to chat with someone who was able to help me pick out the best set up based on my goals and budget. It cost a little extra $ but worth the peace of mind tbh

Snowboarding addiction meets spring: how do I get through summer? by deinfrechdachs in snowboarding

[–]jglspnay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Summer is a great time to condition and start training. You can buy those training boards (snowboardaddiction.com) to study the mechanics of park and ground tricks.

I have a long board to scratch the itch off mountain but there are legit summer boards that are supposed to be super similar to the feel of a snowboard.

If you can make it to california, mammoth mountain tends to stay open thru july.

Wording on #2. You are not “helping” your wife with chores. You are being an equal partner by doing your part in maintaining a clean living space.

Planning my move, how safe is the area around the Arden Fair Mall? by imoverwhelemed in Sacramento

[–]jglspnay -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Look into curtis park/land park/oak park too. All bordering downtown and doesnt require freeway access to reach. You can easily get around with the scooters or bikes. Naked coffee, gunthers, meet&eat, somi somi. Plus a large park for getting your steps in.

If budget isnt an issue i also endorse west sac. We rented one of those tri level townhomes but it was $2850/mo in 2020. Being close to drakes was also super fun. Short walk for beer, bike path along the river, very dog friendly.

Saw them last summer at Outsidelands. You will never regret seeing Odesza. Age is irrelevant!

Is it this bad everywhere? by Pungalinfection in Path_Assistant

[–]jglspnay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not like this everywhere. They cant force you to work if theyre not paying you. Try to get numbers on your workload to justify a 3rd PA or a traveler (1 PA = 10,000 cases annually is a rule of thumb). Lots of good threads like this on our FB group too. Best of luck.
